摘要： A banded sports bra for supporting breasts during exercise or other rapid movement of a person is provided. The banded sports bra has several pathways for bands that allow support of the breasts during oblique and downward breast motion. The banded sports bra can have left and right primary bands that form a rotated “S” shape about the breasts to reduce unwanted movement of the breasts. The banded sports bra can also have a secondary band that is provided under the breasts to reduce downward motion of the breasts. The primary and secondary bands can be adjustable to control the tension provided by the bands at tension adjustment regions with adjustment straps.

摘要： A support garment may have a seamless support garment configured for use by a person. The garment may have first and second arm openings configured to be about 0.5 to 1 times greater than a diameter of an average user's arms; a neck opening configured to be about 2 to 4 times greater than a diameter of an average user's neck; a portion of the arm openings and neck opening opposite each other form integral shoulder straps; a band configured to fit at an under bust of the user defining a torso opening; two cup regions positioned above the band to receive the user's breasts, two cup regions positioned above the band to receive the user's breasts, the cup regions being 100-200 percent thicker at a portion of the cup configured for placement of the user's nipple and tapering to a garment body thickness as the taper extends away from the nipple portion; wherein, the support garment is configured from a material having between 50-200 percent elasticity.

摘要： Articles of athletic garments, particularly sports bra and methods of treating the athletic garments with a shear thickening fluid (STF) are disclosed. The athletic garment comprises a STF treated fabric. The STF treated fabric in contact with the wearer's body part restricts movement of the body part when the shear stress exceeds the shear stress threshold value and stretches and conforms to the wearer's body part when the shear stress is less than the shear stress threshold value. The STF treatment method may include immersing the untreated fabric in a diluted STF bath, metering an amount of the fluid on the fabric, and removing the diluent from the treated fabric.
