摘要： A temporary, disposable shoe cover for bowling includes an upper, a sole having a first sole portion and a second sole portion, and a retainer. The upper is made of a fabric. A bottom opening of the upper is attached to a perimeter of the sole. A top opening of the upper is adapted to receive the user's shoe and/or foot. The retainer is attached to (i.e., at or near) the top opening of the upper and is operable to retain the shoe cover on the user's shoe and/or foot. The first sole portion is on an anterior portion of the sole and made of a low friction fabric (e.g., felt, cotton, or a nonwoven fabric). The second sole portion is on a posterior portion of the sole and made of a high friction fabric (e.g., rubber, rubber impregnated cotton, or flannel backed cotton with nonskid vinyl or rubber dots).

摘要： A flexible footwear covering that fits on a shoe, which has a lower coefficient of friction than the bottom of a shoe allowing for ease of motion on carpeted or other surfaces where the grip of the shoes worn inhibit movement. The covering is in the general shape of a sock with a non retractable or retractable ring, which lies within the arch of the bottom of the shoe giving the option to leave fully covered for maximum ease of movement or expose the heel for more traction when needed. In addition, the flexible footwear covering can be used as a fitness tool with or without the optional design of reinforced panels that are positioned at the toe, ball and/or heel on the outside of the shoe. With the reinforced panels, a variety of exercises can be done to strengthen various muscles of the upper and lower body in a supine or prone position.

摘要： A new shoe sole cover accessory for providing a way to reduce friction between feet and carpeted or rubber type surfaces for dance fitness. The inventive device includes a piece of smooth fabric material such as 210 denier coated nylon oxford fabric and two fastening bands such as elastic, affixed parallel to one another. One fastening band attaches to two corners of the fabric while the other fastening band attaches to the other two corners of the fabric, thus creating an attachable shoe sole cover accessory for friction reduction on carpet for dance fitness. The shoe sole cover accessory is then attached to the shoes by sliding the fastening bands over the top surface of the shoe, with the fabric sliding over the bottom surface of the shoe. When attached securely in this manner, the shoe sole cover accessory reduces friction between carpet or rubber type surface and feet.

摘要： Grind shoe device of the present invention includes a shoe sole having downwardly facing heel and forefoot tread surfaces and a downwardly opening recess formed with longitudinal and transverse recess sections. A grind plate device is formed with transverse and longitudinal grind plate sections for receipt in the respective transverse and longitudinal recess sections, at least one of such grind plate sections being formed with a downwardly facing trough for grinding along a rail, curb or the like. The longitudinal grind plate section is flexible and in some embodiments is foiled of rigid sections of discrete rigid grind plate portions disposed to flex relative to one another to facilitate flexing of the sole. The method of the present invention involves the manufacturing of the sole with such downwardly facing recess and fabricating the grind plate device to be complementally received in its top side in such recesses. The grind plate is fastened to the sole by bonding, molding or, in some instances, by mechanical fasteners.
