    摘要: A ski boot comprising: a rigid shell which is shaped so as to accommodate the foot of the user, and has a lower part structured to be able to couple to a ski binding device; a rigid cuff which is shaped so as to enclose the lower part of the leg of the user, and is pivotally joined to the shell so as to be able to swing about a rotation axis substantially perpendicular to the midplane of the boot; and a cuff locking device which is located on the cuff and is selectively adapted to rigidly connect the cuff to the shell to prevent the cuff from swinging on the shell; the cuff locking device, in turn, comprising a movable arm which is pivotally joined to the cuff so as to be able to rotate to and from a locking position in which the movable arm extends downwards and arranges its distal end in abutment on an anchorage structure present on said shell, and an elastic assembly which is adapted to bring and elastically retain the movable arm in the locking position, and which basically consists of a telescopic stem that lies substantially on the rotation plane of the movable arm and is interposed between the movable arm and a fixed point on the cuff, and of an elastic opposing member that is fitted on the telescopic stem, and acts on the telescopic stem so as to bring and elastically maintain the telescopic stem in a maximum extension configuration.

    摘要: The inventive skate consists of an upper that is designed to accept the foot of the user. Other portions of the upper are preferably constructed using a semi-rigid material, such as fiberglass, nylon, plastic, etc. These semi-rigid portions of the upper decrease the flexibility of the upper in certain sections, thus increasing performance. The inventive skate also includes a blade chassis. The chassis includes a lower portion that is adapted to hold the skate's blade and an upper portion that is adapted to cover a portion of the upper. The inventive skate is configured so that the center of gravity of the skater is disposed generally centrally along the length of the skate chassis. This skate configuration is generally referred to as neutral pitch.

    摘要: The invention relates to a shell part of sports shoe and a method for producing such a shell part based on joining together several components made preferably of different materials in one or more injection molding processes. The method comprises: the production of at least one three-dimensional stable shoe reinforcing part, the application of a filler material on the inner side of the shoe reinforcing part; the positioning of the shoe reinforcing part on a last; and the at least partial overmolding of the shoe reinforcing part with plastic. The method enables the simple and easily controllable production of a shell part with very high rigidity or stability at least in specific areas and at the same time also ensures the workability or adjustability of the shell part during the production and afterwards.

    摘要: The present invention is a retrofit appliqué kit for use with a sport skate and which includes a plurality of reinforcing articles, each exhibiting the features of flexibility and rigidity, and which are secured to exterior locations associated with the sport skate in order to provide localized protection and impact resistance. In one embodiment, the reinforced appliqués each exhibit an upper flexible rubber layer and a second rigid metal or aramid fiber based composite exhibiting a carbon backbone. In a further embodiment, a plurality of Keviar impregnated mat constructed reinforcing attachments are secured along the sides and rear of each hockey skate. A Kevlar mat tongue is securely fastened in place over a laced skate, by looping the straps around the underside of the skate boot through an aperture configured between the boot and the blade portion.
