The elastic capsule is placed in the inner cavity of a lattice frame. When the liquid is used as the internal fluid medium of the elastic capsule and the pressurizing unit is in the form of an electric heating device capable of moving up and down, not only the pressurization of the liquid can be realized by the up-down movement of pressurizing unit to expand the elastic capsule, but also the heat molding can be achieved by heating the liquid as an electric iron.

A method and kit are provided for the customization of footwear comprising an upper which is partially or totally made of thermoformable material. The method provides for selectively heating the portions made of thermoformable material of the footwear, while leaving the remaining portions of the footwear at a substantially unchanged temperature, and for applying to the thermoformable material portions a pressure sufficient to adapt their shape to the specific morphology of the user's foot. This allows to customize even footwear comprising delicate portions, which would be damaged if subjected to high temperatures. The method may provide for customizing a footbed, partially or totally made of thermoformable material, to the specific morphology of the user's foot sole. The kit is compact, preferably transportable and capable of autonomously carrying out all the steps of the method.

The boot leg opening cover attachment includes a pair of cover members each having upper and lower faces and a lower perimeter edge. Each of the cover members is designed for position over a boot leg opening of an associated boot to cover the respective boot leg opening. A clip connects the lower perimeter side edges of the cover members together. The clip is designed for attachment to adjacent portions of the boots to attach the cover members to the boots.
