First and second arms are hingedly connected for selective movement relative to each other between an opened configuration and a closed configuration of the hair styling apparatus. The heating assembly includes a hair contact heating surface disposed on at least one of the first and second arms. An actuator is operatively connected to both an operating switch and a lock, with the actuator being moveable between a first position in which, concurrently, the switch is moved to the on position and the lock is moved to the unlocked position and a second position in which, concurrently, the switch is moved to the off position and the lock is moved to the locked position.

When the detected torque reaches the predetermined value, the circuit board makes the driving device drive the working portion to stop rotating so as to prevent hair from over-rotated.

The hair holder has a long hook at one end and a short reverse hook at its opposite end. The long hook is received in the hair roller initially in one motion. Mounting of the hair holder against hair wound on the hair roller is completed by shifting the hair holder reversely to move the short hook into the opposite end of the hair roller. The hair holder may also be made using equal-length hooks, plus detents for obstructing lengthwise disengaging shift of the hair holder.

摘要： A hair fastener clip for a hollow cylindrical hair roller is disclosed. The roller has a hollow interior defined by an inner cylindrical wall and an exterior wall defining a peripheral surface onto which hair is rolled. The fastener comprises a pair of spaced apart legs and a third leg shorter in length than the pair of legs. The third leg extends downward from the pair of legs for engaging the inner cylindrical wall of the hair roller while lower surfaces of the pair of legs clamp the rolled hair onto the hair roller. The third leg comprises a loop member extending downward from a piece bridging the pair of spaced apart legs, an inclined member extending upward from the loop member, and a terminating end member contiguous to the inclined member and extending downwardly away from the pair of legs. Structural features of the hair fastener clip include a planar handle extending downward from the bridging piece, a bobby pin formed by the pair of legs and bridging piece.
