摘要： A nail clipping cylinder provides a layer of memory foam upon which the tip of the finger or thumb rests when inserted, a blade and one or more sensors which detect the presence of the finger or thumb, extend grippers to gently hold the tip of the finger or toe, detect the contours of the portion of the nail which is to be removed, and position the blade as necessary to trim and remove that portion. Preferably, this detection and positioning system is comprised of a fiber-optic camera, image recognition software, and a servomotor. The user may then press a button to activate the blade. The nail is safely trimmed and the clipping is retained by the cylinder for later disposal. The cylinder is manufactured entirely from recycled materials.

摘要： A remotely actuated toe nail clipper includes a cylindrical tubular housing which encloses an axially reciprocating plunger rod. A leaf spring type toe nail clipper extends through a slot in a bottom portion of the housing. An actuating lever of the toe nail clipper is in engagement with the plunger rod. A scissor mechanism extends transversely through a slot in an upper portion of the housing for actuating the plunger rod. The device is particularly designed for use by individuals who have difficulty reaching their toe nails with conventional forms of nail clippers. In a second embodiment, the axially movable plunger rod is electrically actuated by a solenoid mechanism. An adjustable telescope is mounted in parallel relation to the cylindrical housing and provides an individual with a clear view of the toe nail clipper.

摘要： Proposed is a nail clipper configured to cut fingernails or toenails using the engagement of upper and lower blades. In a section opposite to the cutting blades, a portion of an upper elastic plate is stacked on a portion of a lower plate. In a position forward of the section, a concave portion is provided in a bottom surface of the upper elastic plate. When the cutting blade of the upper elastic plate and the cutting blade of the lower plate are brought into engagement with each other, the blade of the upper elastic plate is located inside of the blade of the lower plate. A stepped portion is provided in an inner portion of an inclined portion of the front end of each of the upper elastic plate and the lower plate. The cutting blades have a minute distance therebetween. The cutting performance and durability of the nail clipper are improved.
