One of the two lid sections may include a mirror. An example may enable a user to view the mirror both in the closed and open configuration. Another example may include a particular opening configuration in which the lid is biased to close during a first stage of opening and, after reaching a selected “amount” of opening, the lid is biased to finish opening. Such biasing may be accomplished without the use of a spring.

摘要： A cosmetic container for housing a cosmetic product applicator is presented. The cosmetic container comprises: a cosmetic product applicator; a tubular housing comprising first and second portions; and a platform positioned within the tubular housing and connected to the first portion of the housing, the platform being adapted to receive the cosmetic product applicator inserted into the tubular housing. The first portion of the housing is rotatable relative to the second portion of the housing about an axis of rotation so as to move the platform between a first position, in which substantially the entire length of the cosmetic product applicator is situated within the tubular housing so as to prevent its removal from the housing, and a second position, in which a portion of the cosmetic applicator projects outwardly from the tubular housing so as to permit its removal from the housing.

摘要： The present invention is related to a case module and a method for controlling the cover rotation of the case module, comprising a case, the case comprising a motor, the motor enabling a cover to rotate, said cover opening when a forward rotation switch is turned on, said cover closing when a reverse rotation switch is turned on; a buffer, the buffer generating a forward rotation signal or a reverse rotation signal, the forward rotation signal and the reverse rotation signal corresponding to the turn-on state of said forward rotation switch or said reverse rotation switch, respectively; and a driving unit, the driving unit rotating said motor, said motor using a signal from said buffer as an input. The case module and the controlling method thereof in accordance with the present invention control the forward rotation and the reverse rotation of the DC motor and have the cover open and close according to the rotation of the DC motor by use of the driving circuit such that the inconvenience of having to manually open and close the cover is eliminated.

摘要： A modular multi-compartment cosmetics container assembly may have plurality of layers configured to releasably couple to each other, permitting a user to attach and detach various different compartment layers, or to just shuffle multiple compartment layers that may store different items into more desirable positions in the arrangement. Releasable attachment is provided by each compartment layer being formed with a hinge pin proximate to a top portion of a side wall of the compartment, and a hinge knuckle disposed proximate to a bottom portion of the side wall, where the hinge knuckle has an opening permitting it to clip onto the hinge pin of the adjacent compartment layer. A latch releasably secures each compartment layer in a closed position. Each hinge knuckle and latch may be pivotally mounted to its compartment layer, permitting movement into a retracted position, so the compartment can sit flush on a flat surface.

摘要： This application presents various containers for cosmetics: a hingeless compact, a compact with magnetic swivels and a compact with a track system. The hingeless compact has a first base portion with prong arms that pass through a second base portion and engage slots or engagement areas on a lid. A compact with magnetic swivels has base and a top that sandwich at least one inner tray; the inner tray is connected to the base and top at one swivel or pivot using an axis or peg; magnetic connections can keep the trays from being unintentionally opened. A compact with a track system allows movement of a tray from a first closed position to a second open position and allows for multiple intermediate positions along the length or travel of the track.
