摘要： An optical device for providing prescription correction to a mirror so that a person who normally wears prescription glasses may clearly see, and also have unobstructed access to, their face in order to apply makeup. A magnifying lens of an appropriate corrective power is removably attached to the mirror by means of a suction cup. The magnifying lens has two refracting surfaces and, when attached to a mirror surface has a convex refracting surface confronting the mirror surface. The lens situated in close proximity to the mirror provides a user who normally wears prescription eyeglasses with the appropriate corrective power to enable them to clearly see their face while providing good working room for them to perform tasks such as applying their makeup.

摘要： A personal mirror constructed of a planar member having a reflective surface on a front face of a rectangular main body, a first flange extending rearward from a top edge of the main body at an acute included angle, and a suction-type attachment mechanism provided on the first flange and facing rearward to enable mounting of the mirror to a nonporous surface. A second flange may extend forward from a bottom edge of the main body and include at least one hole for receiving the handle of an accessory such as a razor, the hole being formed smaller than a head of the razor to allow the razor to hang from the flange. The planar member may be thermoplastic with the main body and first and second flanges integrally formed with first and second bends, respectively, therebetween. The bend between the second flange and the planar member is an obtuse angle and matched to the acute angle of the first bend so that the second flange extends generally horizontally when the mirror is wall-mounted. The first flange preferably includes slots or openings for securing at least two removable suction cups. The planar member, suction cups and a razor may be packaged together as a kit in a clear box or bag, and the entire kit is desirably disposable and marketed or distributed as a gratuity.

摘要： An improved suction cup made of a light transmissive material is provided having a head and a cup portion a concave interior surface adapted to contact a window and an exterior surface opposite said interior surface. A ridge of material is provided along the outer portion of the exterior surface, so that, when the suction cup is in a sealing position, the ridge of material is generally parallel to the mounted surface. In such an arrangement, light passing through the ridge of material continues in a straight path and does not converge at a focal point. Alternatively, surface deformations, such as grooves, circular ridges, dimples, and roughing, may be provided on the exterior surface of the suction cup. These surface deformations diffuse the light passing therethrough, preventing all of the light from converging at a focal point.

摘要： A fogless mirror assembly includes a mirror enclosure and a water reservoir configured to be removably coupled to the mirror enclosure. The mirror enclosure includes a mirror and a frame defining an internal cavity having a water inlet and a water drain. The water reservoir defines a fluid cavity and includes a water outlet and an outlet valve configured to automatically open the water outlet when the water reservoir is coupled to the mirror enclosure such that a volume of water flows from the fluid cavity, into the internal cavity through the water inlet, and exits the internal cavity through the water drain to transfer thermal energy from the water to the mirror thereby increasing the temperature of the mirror from a starting temperature to at least approximately a dew point of water vapor proximate to mirror.

摘要： A magnifying spot mirror releasably attachable to a flat surface includes a circular concave mirror plate mounted on the front surface of a lenticular-shaped support body which has a convex, arcuately curved rear surface from which protrude satellite suction cups that have circular bases which lie in a convex plane and are radially spaced equidistant from the center of the support body and an optional center suction cup. Applying finger pressure to the center of the mirror causes a pair of centrally located suction cups and/or the optional center cup to hermetically grip a flat surface with the mirror parallel to the surface. Pressing on the mirror at a location offset from the center exerts a tensional unsealing force on radially inwardly located suction cups, and compressional sealing forces on outer satellite suction cups, thus re-positioning the mirror at a different orientation angle.

摘要： A fogless shower mirror includes a mirror assembly having an elongated hollow body which has a thin, rectangular-shaped mirror frame section on which is mounted a mirror plate, and an upper rearwardly curved water supply conduit section. A rectangular slab-shaped reservoir within the mirror frame communicates at the upper end thereof with a bore through the water supply conduit, which has at an outer end thereof a vertically disposed water fill aperture. The reservoir and water supply conduit are filled with warm water, and the mirror assembly is releasably attached to a mirror support stand attached to a shower enclosure wall. The mirror plate is heated by the warm water in the reservoir to thus resist fogging caused by condensation of water vapor, Water cooled by warming the mirror plate trickles from a small drain hole in the reservoir and is replenished with warm water from the water supply conduit.

摘要： A wall mountable assembly such as a wall mountable towel ring or the like includes a base part and an object support part extending from the base part. The base part is formed from a wall attachment member and a cover member which fits over the wall attachment member. The wall attachment member has an arm which extends through the cover member and which secures by a pivot connection to a cam member at the inner end of the object support part of the assembly. The object support part is swingable from a non-use to a use position relative to the base part to cause the cam member to move between a loose and a tight fitting with respect to the cover of the base part. The assembly further includes a locking member which releasably secures to the cam member and which blocks the cam member from moving away from the tight fitting holding all of the components of the assembly tightly secured to one another.
