摘要： A dishwashing machine of the from-loading type has a slidable support assembly enabling a dish supporting rack to be manually slid inwardly or outwardly through the access opening of the wash chamber of the machine. The assembly includes on each side of the rack an elongated channel slide member, a rack support member and two spaced apart bracket members. The elongated channel slide member supports the rack support member which is disposed to slidably move along the channel slide member so as to translate the load force of the rack to the channel slide member. Each bracket members is mounted to the wash chamber side wall and has a central body portion and upper and lower guiding flanges projecting towards the rack and converging toward each other to define a guideway surface for slidably supporting the channel slide member. Each bracket is secured to the side wall of the dishwashing machine by a post and one screw. The use of the bracket members provides a material cost savings and assembly time savings over the previous use of rollers mounted to the side walls.

摘要： A basket and mounting arrangement for use in a refrigerator/freezer storage compartment is disclosed. The basket is provided with a plurality of generally longitudinally extending support rails which are carried on each side of the basket and which are adapted to be slidably received in a pair of guide members secured to opposing sidewalls of the storage compartment. In one embodiment, the plurality of support rails comprise a first pair which are located on opposite sides of the basket in a substantially horizontal first plane and a second pair of support rails which are located on opposite sides of the basket and are vertically spaced a predetermined distance from the first pair of support rails in a substantially horizontal second plane. Either pair of support rails can be readily engaged with the pair of guide members to alter the vertical position of the basket. The basket is constructed in a manner such that the support rails are laterally spaced a predetermined distance from the sidewalls of the basket in order to prevent interference with the movement of the basket by goods stored therein. The guide members are integrally formed with upstanding abutment flanges which engage stop members carried by the support rails to limit sliding movement of the basket.

Inserted in the channel is a channel-stop 40 having first and second body members 42, 44 which are hinged together. One of the body members is slidably fitted into the end of the channel, and the other body member is pivotal to a coupled position wherein a tab 72 on the second body member 44 protrudes within the aperture in the channel to prevent removal of the channel-stop from the end of the channel. The two body members can be uncoupled for removal of the tab from the channel aperture so that the channel-stop can be removed from the channel.

摘要： The present invention provides a combination sink and dishwashing apparatus having a sink sharing a common side wall with a cabinet which defines a closed space. The cabinet has a wire basket for holding and washing a plurality of dishes within the cabinet. The common side wall is a part of the cabinet that defines the closed space and is positioned to form one side of the sink. The common side wall can be opened to allow the wire basket to slide from within the cabinet and into the sink, for loading and unloading the dishes. Within the cabinet, the invention contains a pump powered by a motor, the pump spraying water through a rotatably mounted spray arm onto the dishes to wash them, as with traditional dishwashing machines. The invention preferably includes a garbage disposal which is also powered by the motor. In an alternative embodiment, this invention can include two cabinets as described above, each located on opposing sides of the sink.

Gear tracks are provided along a horizontal top inner surface of the tub corresponding to the gear wheels wherein the gear wheels are operatively meshed with the gear tracks during the in and out movement of the dishrack within the tub.
