    摘要： Disclosed is an articulation type supporter which is formed in a multiple-joint structure configured to support an item such as a book, a portable device, etc. wherein the rotation of the movable frame based on the weight of the item is limited about the connected portion of the base frame, and it is convenient for a user to handle. The featured configuration includes the base frame installed at the fixed structure, a movable frame of which one end is connected through the first hinge connection unit to the base frame, and the connection frames which are connected in series from the other end of the movable frame through the second hinge connection unit, wherein the first hinge connection unit includes the first brake unit configured to limit the rotations of the movable frame in response to the weight applied from the other end of the movable frame while providing the upward and downward rotation motion of the movable frame in response to the user's force.

    摘要： A display holder constructed of transparent plastic formed with an 180.degree. bend (12) so that its face side (11) presses against its reverse side (13). The pressure of the two sides will hold a sheet of paper printed with advertising that pertains to a consumer's electronic home entertainment center. At the opposite end, another longer-radius 180.degree. bend (16) is made, forming a book or magazine pocket and clamp (17). This pocket and clamp (17) can then hold a book or magazine that is used in conjunction with an electonic home entertainment center. Hook-and-loop strips (14 and 15) are fastened to the display holder adjacent and parallel to the 180.degree. bend (12). Then mating hook-and-loop strips (24 and 25) are fastened by the consumer to a plurality of electronic remote control units so that these strips (24 and 25) will mate together with the other strips (14 and 15). This allows a homeowner to fasten remote control units to the display holder, thus consolidating them for ease of use.

    摘要： A bookholder for reclined reading includes a support arm assembly of two arms meeting at a right angle and extending upwardly at approximately 45.degree. from the horizontal. The support arms provide ledges for supporting the bottom and one side of an open book at a 45.degree. angle. The ledges have a plurality of holes for selective insertion of pegs to hold the book and its pages in place.The support arm assembly is pivotably supported on a backwall member, which in turn is supported on a base member. In a modified form the support arm assembly is fixed rather than pivotable. The ledges include notches to optionally support a book in the horizontal position. A lamp for night time reading is incorporated into an open box structure in the base member.

    摘要： An improved bookholder consists of a box with a base and an opening at the top, a lid for the box which is pivotable from a first position extending in a substantially vertical direction above the base to a second position in which the lid covers the opening of the box, a pair of separately movable arms with ledges for supporting a book on the ledges when the lid is open, means for holding said book on the ledges and against the lid, the arms being arranged to be moved to a location on the lid where they will enter the opening of the box as the lid is pivoted to the second position. In its preferred form, the arms are attached to the lid to be pivotable, together with fixing means for holding them in selected positions, and are also hinged in the middle. An illuminating lamp is contained in the box, and arranged to illuminate the pages of the book.
