摘要： Furniture spring systems are configured to provide support for different sized modular seating systems and/or modular bed systems. Slats extend between opposing frame or rail members to provide support to the seating or bed system. The slats have a catch disposed at a first or second end. In the seating and/or bed frame systems, the catch engages a retention member to retain the slat to the frame or rail. Adjustable bed frame systems employing such slats comprise modular bed frames and adjustable head boards and foot boards. Bed frames employing the slats and headboards/footboards thereof adjust in length or width in a variety of different manners. Adjustable bed frames adjust through the use of telescoping members, filler blocks and/or elongate end blocks that have different sizes from the standard uniform elongate support blocks employed in a bed frame.

摘要： An one-piece corner connector for connecting two frame bars at right angles to one another includes a right-angle bracket having two angle legs, an intermediate plate, and two U-profile connecting pieces at right angles, having a middle leg and two side legs for insertion into the plug-in openings in the frame bars which are open at one end. 摘要： A metal mattress platform includes a plurality of interconnected metal bars disposed in a common plane and forming a generally rectangular frame and at least four legs. Upper surfaces of the metal bars define a platform surface of the metal mattress platform. Each leg is disposed proximate a respective corner of the rectangular frame. The legs are sufficiently long to position the generally rectangular frame a relatively high distance above the ground, such as about sixteen inches or more. In some embodiments, the platform may include two or more panels, some of which may be hingedly attached to one another to allow the platform to be folded to smaller dimensions for shipping or storage.

摘要： Embolic Protection elements are integrated with a catheter or access sheath for any catheter. A catheter shaft has an embolic filter slidably mounted on a distal portion of a catheter shaft. A proximal stop for limits proximal movement of the embolic filter, and a distal stop for limits distal movement of the embolic filter. The filter has a porous mesh material defining a collection chamber for captured emboli and has a collapsed and a deployed configuration. The filter may be collapsed by an access sheath used with the catheter. An access sheath may have a tubular main body and an embolic filter mounted on the distal portion of the tubular main body. The embolic filter may evert into the central lumen of the sheath or may be constrained on the exterior of the sheath with a larger diameter outer tube.

摘要： A foundation for a mattress is formed from a foam block and supports that extend across the bottom side of the foam block. The supports are preferably secured within channels in the bottom side of the foam block and can be attached to the foam block by an adhesive. The foam block is made of foam rigid enough to support a mattress and is compressible so it has a compressed configuration and an expanded configuration. In the compressed configuration, the foundation may be folded into a compact form and vacuum-sealed in a plastic membrane which easies in storage, shipping, and delivery of the foundation. When the foundation is delivered to its place of use, the compressed foundation can be removed from its packaging, allowing the foam block to return to its expanded configuration and placed onto a standard bed frame with the supports providing crosswise support across the frame.
