Abstract:
In various aspects, a sheet set includes a fitted sheet and a top sheet. The fitted sheet may include four cup portions, each cup portion can be configured to be positioned over four different corners of a mattress. The top sheet may be sewn onto the fitted sheet. The areas as to which the top sheet is sewn onto the fitted sheet may define a seamline. The seamline may extend from a top of one cup portion of the fitted sheet to a top of another cup portion of the fitted sheet.
Abstract:
A pressure sore prevention mattress is provided alternating pressure points on the body of an occupant that is easily transformable between two stable configurations. The four-layer mattress construction has a top foam pad, a webbing layer, a dynamic layer of deformable panels trapezoid-shaped four-bar mechanisms that deform to produce an undulating pattern of peaks, and a base. Panel geometry can determine peak height. The mattress has a spatially hollow geometry that allows natural air convection through the breathable top foam pad to enable drying of moisture as well as the use of forced air convective drying or cooling. The mattress can be transformed from one configuration to the other while the occupant is on the mattress.
Abstract:
A portable air delivering device for a bed is disclosed to provide a better sleeping environment for a user. The portable air delivering device comprises a housing arranged with a plurality of components to deliver air onto the user sleeping on the bed. The plurality of components comprises a pair of retainer clips to hold a covering sheet, a fan to draw an atmospheric air from outside and deliver a stream of the atmospheric air to flow onto the user sleeping under the covering sheet, and a regulator to regulate a speed of the fan. The housing is fixed to a foldable frame. One frame body is placed securely under a bed mattress, so that the other frame body firmly fixes the housing enabling the housing to face the sleep area at foot part of the bed to allow the flow of air onto the user through the covering sheet.
Abstract:
A cord with an outer fabric covering over a sheath and draw string is used to secure a flexible sheet to a solid object, such as a mattress, table, pool, or ironing board. In some embodiments, the cord is a string lacking a sheath and draw string. The cord has a series of clips attached there-to by a second cord or by direct attachment. The clips are in turn removably attachable to edges of a sheet. One then tightens the draw string, reducing the length of the cord, and continues to do so until the sheet is pulled to a bottom side of an object. In this manner, the sheet ends are beneath the mattress and tightened thereto by the cord. The cord further snaps to itself, in embodiments of the disclosed technology, to form a closed loop around the bed.
Abstract:
A springless, double ended elastic fabric tensioner including at least two gripping members, each having a first jaw and a second jaw biased together at a first pivot point and a second pivot point wherein the first and second pivot points are set apart from each other. A compression activation site is positioned in between the first and second pivot points for activating the first and second jaws from a closed position to an open position. The fabric tensioner further includes a tensioning elastomeric member having a first end and second end and providing sufficient tension between the gripping members whereby each gripping member removably engages either the first or second ends of the elastomeric member.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is directed to a bed covering. In some embodiments, a bed covering according to the present disclosure can include a fitted base configured to at least partially enclose a mattress, a comforter portion including an end connected to the fitted base and sides removably connectable to sides of the fitted base, and extendable side flaps connected to the sides of the comforter portion. Additional and alternative embodiments of the bed covering are disclosed herein and/or will be evident from the principles described herein.
Abstract:
A sheet, pad or liner can be designed with tabs that can easily and quickly adhere to the underside of a mattress to prevent the fitted sheet, mattress pad or liner from riding up and popping off the mattress. The tabs can extend from the corners of the sheet, pad or liner and, typically, from one to three tabs may be disposed from each corner region. The mattress can have an adherent area to attach the tabs or the entire underside of the mattress can be made from an adherent material. The adherent area and the tabs can be, for example, configured to attach with a hook and loop connection system.
Abstract:
An accessory, designed to tightly stretch a sheet over a mattress, composed of a flat base with two vertical arms that each have a clip that grips the sheet.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a bed sheet and to an apparatus for securing a bed sheet or fitted sheet to a mattress. The bed sheet and apparatus, namely a bed sheet retainer set, preferably comprise a fitted bed sheet having four corners and a flat sheet. Both the fitted sheet and flat sheet are placed on a mattress above a box spring. The bed sheet retainer set preferably comprises a fitted sheet restrictor having cylinder with a slot and a base for placement between the mattress and box spring, four corner grips for use on the fitted sheet and two flat sheet grips for use with the flat sheet. The corner grips and flat sheet grips are preferably made of machine-washable foam with a rougher surface. The corner grips preferably each have a semi-circular base and a rounded corner wall. The flat sheet grips preferably have an hour-glass shape and rounded edges.
