The system further include a frame mount that is fixedly attached to the rear face of the frame component. The frame mount comprises a first magnetic element. The system also includes a repositionable wall pad for placement on a support surface and configured to detachably couple to the frame mount. The wall pad includes a cross-linked closed cell polyethylene foam having a first face that faces away from the frame mount and an opposite second face that faces the frame mount. The wall pad further includes a removable transfer adhesive layer disposed directly along the first face, a permanent transfer adhesive layer disposed directly along the second face, and a second magnetic element that is magnetically attracted to the first magnetic element.

摘要： A spline installation device for use with a spline/rail type frame to assemble the splines to the rails. The device including a base that defines a platform for receiving a frame subassembly; and a plurality of linkages that are disposed about the platform and coupled to the base. Each linkage is configured to move between a first position in which a fence bearing surface thereof is at an angle other than 90 degrees relative to the platform and a second position in which the fence bearing surface is set at an at least substantially 90 degree angle relative to the platform for locking and holding the frame subassembly in place. The linkages further being configured to receive a spline instillation tool for locking the splines in place relative to the rails.

摘要： A frame apparatus for displaying an article The frame apparatus includes a frame having a rabbet and a channel having a channel axis formed into a wall of the rabbet. A stack is positioned within the rabbet for display. The stack may include a glazing, an article for display, and a backer panel. A clip member is slidably coupled to the frame within the channel such that the clip member can slide within the channel along the channel axis while remaining coupled to the frame. The clip member has a hanging feature. Thus, the clip member serves the dual purpose of securing the stack within the rabbet and also providing the hanging feature for the frame. Furthermore, the clip member functions as a built-in self-leveling feature because it can slide within the channel thus ensuring that the frame is hung in a level manner.

摘要： Disclosed is a fine art stretcher bar framing and canvas fastening system. The system consists of variable length side bars, fixed ninety degree corners, internal connecting segments, and an adjustable cross brace for quick and easy assembling, dismantling, storing, and transporting. The side bars, corners, and connecting segments features a mechanism utilizing a male plug and female socket to connect side bars, corners, and connecting segments in an array of stretcher bar configurations. The segments are secured using interlocking pins after side bars or corners female sockets engaged with connecting segment plugs. The cross brace segments features an adjustable mechanism conforming to the stretcher bar configuration. The side bars, corners, connecting, and cross brace segments can be dismantled by removing interlocking mechanism on the segments. The back side of the stretcher bar system features a wooden surface to mount or dismount canvases using staples or other fasteners.

Each foldable extension includes two folds to be folded toward the back surface to form a frame portion. Abutting frame portions form respective corners of the three-dimensional supporting frame. A corner mount is to be inserted into the abutting frame portions at the respective corners. Each corner mount includes first and second opposed surfaces, a shaped portion, and two corner mount foldable extensions extending from two sides of the shaped portion. Each corner mount foldable extension includes two tabs to be folded toward the first opposed surface. An adhesive layer is established on the second opposed surface and is to be adhered to the back surface of the three-dimensional supporting frame at the respective corners.

Corner edges are positioned over a back support structure on which an art package rests, and are removably attached on outside corner regions of the back support structure. The corner edges at least partially sandwich an art package between the front face of the back support structure and the lips of the corner edges. Fasteners removably attach along the back support structure between corner edges. The back support structure comprises extenders attached with adjoining hardware, and support bars add extra support. Space adjusters adapt a framing device for proper fit. The framing device is re-usable and adaptable due to means of attaching and dismantling the modular elements, and by adapting modular elements to fit different sizes and aesthetic choices. Modular elements are occasionally interchangeable.
