摘要： A connecting device of a retaining ring of a safety belt includes a main body, a bolt, and a locking member. The main body is used with the bolt to form an enclosure or not. The bolt passes through a bolt bore of the main body and has a first teeth portion and a stopper located in a first half part of the first teeth portion. The first teeth portion and the locking member are used to control the bolt to lock or to unlock. The locking member could move between a first position and a second position along an axial direction of the locking member and could rotate around a central axis of the locking member. When the bolt is at a closed position and the locking member is at the first position, a second teeth portion of the locking member is meshed with the first half part. When the bolt is at the closed position and the locking member is at the second position, the second teeth portion is meshed with the second half part.

摘要： A connector for a fall protection compliance system includes a frame having an opening and a connection area configured for receiving a connection structure therein and a connection sensor assembly associated with the frame. The connection sensor assembly includes at least one permanent magnet configured for generating a magnetic field within at least a portion of the connection area, at least one magnetometer configured for detecting a presence or an absence of a disturbance in the magnetic field, and a control device having at least one processor programmed or configured to receive connection data from the at least one magnetometer, determine a connection status of the connector based on detecting the presence or the absence of the disturbance in the magnetic field, and perform at least one action based on the connection status. A method for detecting connection of a connector to a connection structure is also disclosed.

摘要： A harness having a deployable rappelling assembly is disclosed. The harness includes a strap construction including an upper torso securing portion having shoulder straps that extend from a rear torso portion to a front torso portion, a leg securing portion extending downward from the rear torso portion and having right and left leg straps, each of the left and right leg straps including a releasable connector, and a rappelling assembly connected to the front torso portion. The rappelling assembly may fold from a stowed position to a deployed position, and include loops and a cross member. The leg straps may be passed through the loops to connect the front torso portion to the leg securing portion for climbing or rappelling. The harness also may be incorporated into a garment.
