The golf club head comprises a striking face that in turn comprises a recurrent texture pattern that has a period T and that is defined by a plurality of depressions, each depression having an average depth no greater than 0.10 mm. The striking face also comprises a plurality of scorelines that at least partially intersect the recurrent texture pattern and that have a scoreline pitch Ps such that T/Ps is greater than 1.0, each scoreline having an average depth no less than 0.10 mm.

摘要： A golf putter head is provided that includes a base element, the base element including a golf ball striking surface, at least one alignment rail, a lip, the lip extending the entire front width of the golf putter head and a top surface, the top surface located at the rear of the golf putter head, an upper plate the upper plate configured to be secured to the base element at the lip and the top surface, the upper plate includes at least one aperature and the upper plate completely covering the top surface. The upper plate further includes at least one indicator marking, the at least one indicator marking configured to align with the at least one alignment rail and the aperature is sized such that the at least one alignment rail may be viewed through the aperature. The mass of the putter head is distributed such that the mass of the upper plate is greater than the mass of the base element, thereby positioning the center of gravity of the putter head above a centerline of the golf ball striking surface and an equator of a golf ball when the golf ball is positioned proximate the golf ball striking surface of the golf putter head.

摘要： A set of golf club wedges each having a club face (10) is disclosed wherein the lofts of the individual clubs progressively increases. The hitting surface of each club head may take the form of an insert (12) that includes a series of grooves, the design of which is varied from club to club to provide increasing friction with loft. As a result, a golfer can impart the same amount of spin to a golf ball with each of the wedges despite a substantial difference in loft and club head swing speed between the respective clubs. In addition, the surface roughness of the hitting surface may also be increased as loft increases to further control the spin imparted to the ball.
