摘要: A leg press attachment which is configured to be engaged with a squat rack, and thereafter used to perform many different exercises. The leg press attachment is engageable with hooks on the squat rack such that the leg press attachment pivots during use relative to the squat rack yet includes at least one stop for limiting the extent of its pivoting relative to the squat rack. Preferably, the device can be removed from the hooks and engaged directly with the squat rack, during which time the at least one stop secures the device relative to the squat rack. Preferably, the leg press attachment is also configured such that it can be removed from squat rack, and converted to a sled for pushing along the floor.

A lifting arm is movably mounted relative to the main frame and associated with at least one of the user support, user engagement device, and connecting linkage so as to move during an exercise. A load associated with the lifting arm provides exercise resistance.

摘要: The present invention is a squat exercise machine for performing squat exercise in a safe and controlled manner by providing shoulder pads with a specific angle which allows for the optimal comfort, posture, safety, and transfer of strength to a free weight squat. Support members are provided for more stability to the machine. It provides a dual safety stopping mechanism. The stopping mechanism provides controlled movement by the user and a safe entry and exit from the squat exercise machine. An adjustable safety locking mechanism is also provided which allows the user to control the movement range of the resistance, restrict the movement for training effect and to stop the moving resistance just below the user's working range of movement to prevent injury from the user becoming suppressed by the resistance. Additionally, the apparatus is equipped with fixed resistance band hooks to provide for virtually unlimited resistance and for 3 forms of resistance; static weight, exponential band resistance and the combination of both.

摘要: Apparatus for bi-directional ankle exercise movements has a main-frame with a seat and upwardly extending columns at either side to support a “U” shaped sub-frame, mounted so that it pivots about a horizontal axis passing very nearly through the ankles of a seated user and interconnecting linkages simultaneously enforcing ankle inversion, with plantarflexion and then ankle eversion, with dorsiflexion, about perpendicularly intersecting axes, while resisting such movements, so as to provide bidirectional ankle exercises according to a progressive resistance program, thus strengthening the ankle muscle groups for enhanced balance and dynamic stability.

Thus, by multi-directional operation of the joint shaft, a user can operate the operating bar to move the barbell shaft and the counterweight in exercising operational modes of squatting, lunging and arm lifting to train different muscle groups.
