The tether has a length that is between ten centimeters and fifteen centimeters. This enables the tether to wrap around half a user's hand from the center of the back of the hand to the palm. The diameter of the ball construct and the unique length of the tether enable the toy to be rapidly juggled in a novel manner.

摘要： A toy having a looped string and three handles, each of the handles having a grip section, an eyelet through which the string passes, and a swivel between the eyelet and the grip section. The swivels allow the eyelets to rotate relative to the grip sections so that a handle can be held at the grip section and one or both of the other handles can be rotated without resulting in tangling of the string about the eyelet of the held handle. The grip sections are considerably larger and more massive than the eyelets so that the centers of mass of the handles are generally displaced from the string. In an alternate embodiment a pivot is included between each grip section and associated eyelet. A wide variety of motions and maneuvers can be performed by swinging one or more of the handles while holding or releasing one or more of the handles and/or holding or releasing one or more sections of the string. Another alternate embodiment is a triangular sheet of fabric with handles rotatably attached at each corner by swivels.

摘要： A hand held shuttle wheel toy is provided having parallel metal rails on which a shuttle wheel can be rolled back and forth. The toy comprises a first pair of parallel metal rails, each of said rails having a top and bottom side, a fixed end and at least one free end; a handle into which the fixed end of said rails in inserted; a shuttle wheel having a magnetic core, a conical projection at each end of the magnetic core, a central hub wherein said core is inserted into said hub with the conical projections extending co-axially out from said central hub and a circular rim having an inner surface and an outer surface; a second pair of parallel metal rails, each of said rails having a top and bottom side, a first end fixed within said handle and a second end remote from said handle wherein the second pair of rails are bent upwards adjacent the handle so as to run back at an incline above the handle; opposite outward V-shaped curves in each of said rails adjacent said handle and wherein the free end of said rails is bent outwardly to permit said shuttle wheel to roll along the top side of each rail and then reverse direction on the bottom side of each rail. If properly handled, the wheel can be moved along the rails which provide a simple path for the wheel to follow. Once one is adept at maintaining the simple motion of the wheel a wide variety of tricks can be performed.

摘要： An inclined, flat, surfaced ramp to simplify and accelerate learning to juggle. One or more balls are rolled up and down the ramp rather than tossed freely in the air. Rolling makes the balls move more slowly and gives the user more control over their trajectory. The angle of the ramp is increased as the user's skill level improves, causing the balls to roll faster, until free-fall speed is achieved and the training aid is no longer needed. Inscribed or printed patterns on the Base Board [1] or Rolling Surface [2] show a recommended pattern for the ball's trajectory. Ramp may have Retaining Ledges [4] at top and/or bottom to keep balls from rolling off the ends of the board. Base Board may be fabricated in sections and optionally hinged in the middle to allow it to fold for easier carrying and storage.
