摘要： The present invention is an apparatus and a method for training a throwing technique. The apparatus includes an elongated member, a weighted element, and a flexible joining means. The apparatus may further include a placement means. The elongated member includes a lower end, an upper end, and a body portion. The weighted element has an attachment point, and is movable from a starting position to an ending position. The flexible joining means includes a first end, a second end, and an intermediate portion. The flexible joining means has a predetermined length, is secured about upper end of elongated member, has second end that is secured at attachment point of weighted element, and is movable from a starting position to an ending position. The method includes the steps of: placing the apparatus, balancing on pitching leg, taking an extended stride or lunge toward target, and explosively rotating upper torso rotationally downward.

摘要： Garments for sports throw training are provided. An exemplary garment includes a sleeve of flexible material having an open end and terminate end. The sleeve defines an internal cavity extending between the open and terminate ends. The internal cavity includes a first portion that is generally larger than a second portion of the internal cavity. The sleeve defines an opening at the open end for enclosing portions of the hand, forearm and elbow of the arm. The sleeve defines an enclosure at the terminate end that encloses the second portion of the internal cavity for retaining an object within the internal cavity when the object is released by the hand. A fastener is attached to the sleeve and adapted for compressive attachment of the sleeve to the arm when the arm is positioned within the internal cavity.

摘要： A football training device and system is presented that simulates game-time conditions wherein players of the opposite team attempt to strip the ball carrier of the ball. The football training device has a football with at least one cord attached to each end of the football. The cord is connected to a housing which is attached to the player's body by a strap. As the player carries the football a remote control device is used to activate the housing to retract the cord which acts to strip the football from the players hands.

摘要： An exercise device includes a left glove member adapted to be worn on the left hand of a user and a right glove member adapted to be worn on the right hand of the user, the left and right glove members each having an impact area and an elastomeric cord extending from a center of the impact area to a ball, such that the ball is connected to the left and right glove members by the elastomeric cords of equal length. A rigid plate member is fitted within each of the left and right glove members for providing a solid surface at the impact area. The user, wearing the left and right glove members, alternates movement of the hands in a repeated left and right punch throwing action which causes the ball to alternately strike the impact areas of the glove members and travel away from the user until the elastomeric cord leading from the opposite hand stretches taut and causes the ball to travel back towards the user for subsequent striking with the opposite hand. This alternating action is repeated for as many punches as the user can continue to hit the ball.

摘要： The utility model relates to physical development of human beings, in particular to training devices for boxers or to toys for developing physical abilities of children. With a view to extend functionalities along with improving the usage conditions of training devices, a training device for boxers is provided, said device comprising a punch absorbing unit connected by means of a flexible cord to a mechanism fixable to a sportsman's body. Said punch absorbing unit is configured, for example, as a ball, pear or pumpkin made of leather duplicated with dublerin and provided with contrasting painted inserts sewed therein, a cut and holes for lacing up its cavity filled with a shock-absorbing filler. A sealed chamber containing liquid and weight is also arranged in said cavity. The sealed chamber, by means of a synthetic rope passing through an additional leather stripe fixed to the body of the punch absorbing unit, is rigidly connected to the flexible cord configured as a twisted rubber rope. The top end of the rubber rope is in a length-adjustable manner connected to a mechanism fixable to a sportsman's body, said mechanism being configured as a leather belt with a fixing device.
