The invention includes a method comprising providing an image (30); aligning three substantially identical copies of the image (30) such that a first copy is juxtaposed to a second copy, and a third copy is centered beneath and adjacent to the first and second copies; setting a die layout in a desired configuration; die cutting the Möbius strip using a die (29); and assembling the Möbius strip. Using methods of the invention, relatively seamless Möbius strips may be constructed for use in a wide variety of retail items, such as gift and other novelty items and as a marketing tool for organization wishing to promote cyclical concepts.

摘要： A self-contained loop puzzle has a plurality of closely spaced casements, selected casements being rotatable around their longitudinal axes of symmetry. Selected casements contain an indicia bearing tile and a second indicia bearing tile in spaced relationship such that the plurality of casements presents a series of tiles in a given order, and at least two spaced tracks are defined by the closely spaced casements in the loop. The tiles are slidably in the respective tracks, whereby selective, partial rotation of casements and the sliding movement of tiles along the loop produces a reverse order for the series of tiles.

摘要： A completed, solved game puzzle 10 is a mobius strip made of multiple columns 24 and rows 22 of blocks 20, or block-like pieces. Each block 20 has opposing display surfaces and opposing connecting surfaces which are orthogonal to the display surfaces. The connecting surfaces have mechanisms such as a corresponding peg 30 and aperture 32, respectively, for connecting one block 20 to another block 20. The display surfaces exhibit a color, alphabet 28, number or symbol. The unsolved puzzle is one or more bands of blocks connected by and pivotable about an axis 26 extending through the center of each block 20 parallel to the display and connecting surfaces. The solution to the puzzle may be words or phrases spelled by aligned letters of individual strips, or a predetermined pattern formed from aligned colors or symbols. To solve the puzzle, the blocks of each strip must be connected adjacent the blocks of another strip at appropriate locations.

摘要： A hand-held toy is disclosed by which the manual dexterity and concentration of the user is challenged. The toy in its preferred embodiment constitutes a continuous Mobius ring formed from an elongated band having grooves disposed in both sides thereof, the grooves defining a raceway for a rolling ball-like playing piece and with the band being twisted about its longitudinal axis through an odd number of turns and having its ends permanently joined together. An aperture is disposed in the band which communicates with the grooves to either side of the band. The aperture being selectedly closed by one-way door means. A handle is provided to be gripped by the user, the handle being disposed across the Mobius ring and defining an approximation of the diameter.The toy is utilized by placing one or more rolling ball-like playing pieces or marbles in the grooves and then, through manipulation of the Mobius ring, the ball can be rolled in the grooves through a distance of up to 720.degree. or, the ball can be rolled through the open door and aperture through a shorter angular distance to facilitate playing action. A removable arched cover can be provided over one of the grooves adjacent the door to further facilitate playing.

摘要： A Mobius band type amusement device comprising an initially flat rectangular elongated strip of flexible material having its ends joined after giving it a half twist (180*) or an odd number of half twists. A length of tubing, preferably transparent, is mounted on or integrally formed with both side surfaces of the Mobius strip, with its ends joined to form an endless tube which contains a ball or plurality of balls for travel in the tubing in a path which is continuous without going around an edge. Preferably the strip and tubing are made of flexible plastic material, not necessarily the same material, and the ball or balls are steel. Movement of the balls in the tubing may produce an audible sound which adds to the interest of the observer handling the device.
