摘要： The invention provides a game apparatus having matched inner and outer vessels and a set of cards that can be used to play a game. Each vessel of the game apparatus is configured to hold a liquid such as water or beer, which can be dispensed into the vessel body through the open top. The outer vessel is larger than the inner vessel and configured to hold the inner vessel in a substantially upright position and rotatable in its hollow interior. The matched inner and outer vessels can be used to play a game in which two or more players take turn adding at least a drop of water to an inner vessel placed in a fluid-filled outer vessel until a player loses by causing the inner vessel to sink by adding more fluid than the inner vessel can hold. The invention also provides a plurality of karma cards that are content matched to a two-vessel game apparatus. A karma card can stipulate one or more actions to be taken when a player causes the inner cup to sink to a position identified by an outcome element on the outer cup. The invention methods for playing games using the matched two-vessel game apparatus, as well as score cards.

摘要： A multiple player word forming game is disclosed. The game uses a board, a cup and a plurality of cards. The cards are randomly transferred to and from the players. The players use the cards to form words. In the best mode, a game board defines a flat surface bounded by a peripheral wall upon which the cup freely travels about. A player begins a turn by spinning the cup, which eventually lands upon a card transfer space. The card transfer space dictates whether the player either draws or passes cards. The player transfers cards either from the deck or to a discard pile or to or from another player during a turn. Then the player attempts to spell a word by selecting cards in his hand and laying them face-up in front of him. Opponents may challenge the player's word. Any player who transfers all of his cards during a set becomes empty-handed and may not challenge words. The number of points earned by each player is dependent upon their performance both in forming words and in manipulating the number of cards in their hand. Preferably, a chance card multiplies the number of points a player can get. The set ending player's total score is doubled if the player ended the set with the chance card. Other player's scores are multiplied by zero if they held the chance card when an opponent ended the set.

摘要： An improved chess set, for play by opposing two-man teams, comprises a game board fifteen squares wide and twelve squares deep. Each team has a playing piece set comprising a common king and a player set for each of the team players. Each player set, color coded for identification, comprises two rooks, two knights, two bishops and a queen disposed on the outside rows of the game board. Each player set further comprises seven pawns, disposed on the squares immediately in front of the seven principal pieces. Each team set of playing pieces further includes a warder, for common play by either team member. The warder is initially disposed on the square in advance of the king and may be moved to any of the squares within a designated "castle area". The warder may be captured only by a knight or pawn. Each team member is limited to moving the pieces of his assigned player set, plus his team's king and warder. Excepting the provisions relating to the warder, the movement of playing pieces and their capture may be the same as in the well recognized rules of the game of chess.

Two or more colors, but fewer colors than die faces, may be included on the die and game board. Thus, a bet can also be placed on which color will be found on the upwardly directed die face. A color bet is typically done by use of a same colored token or a token on a same colored section of the game board.
