    Abstract: An apparatus and method for securing an edge of a paintless type film gore. A fluid sealant material is beaded along the edge of the gore using a bead striping apparatus. The striping apparatus comprises a serrated wheel rotatably coupled to a housing which contains the fluid sealant. The sealant is transferred to the wheel and subsequently is transferred the gore edge as the wheel is rolled.

    Abstract: An applicator for applying liquid adhesive to the surface of a sheet of material in which the applicator has a reservoir containing the liquid adhesive and a cylindrical, rotatable, coating roller in operative communication with the reservoir to apply a wide layer of uniform thickness of the adhesive onto the surface. A cover is provided for selectively enclosing the coating roller and the reservoir and providing a substantially air-tight closure of the reservoir and coating roller to inhibit drying of the liquid adhesive. The adhesive remains in liquid state in the reservoir in readiness for use without external heating. The applicator can be in the form of a portable, hand-held unit or a motor-driven automatic unit.
