摘要: A chuck includes a chuck body extending along a longitudinal axis, the chuck body including a plurality of slots each arranged at an oblique angle with respect to the longitudinal axis. A plurality of jaws each includes a first engagement portion, a jaw end, and a drive end. Each of the jaws is disposed within one of the plurality of slots and is movable between a close position and an open position. A biasing member is coupled to the plurality of jaws and is operable to bias the plurality of jaws toward the close position and a rotating assembly is selectively engageable with the plurality of jaws such that when engaged, the plurality of jaws are movable in response to rotation of the rotating assembly.

The collet nut is coupled to the spindle-chuck body. The actuator comprises a holder positionable to engage the spindle-chuck body and an actuation assembly including a first member positioned to engage the collet nut when the holder engages the spindle-chuck body and a second member operatively coupled to the first member to rotate the first member about a first axis. The second member is rotatable about a second axis non-parallel to the first axis.

This invention can achieve positioning fit of metals, and self-locking and unlocking switching is realized by the lever, the interference phenomenon in the self-locking structure will not occur, which has a stronger holding force for the self-locking state of the drill chuck, greatly enhancing the operating feeling and increasing the self-locking force.

摘要: A drill chuck and a drill apparatus is provided that includes a drilling machine, which has a motor and a machine spindle that is supported in rotary fashion in a machine housing. The a drill chuck is connected to the machine spindle and can be moved between a clamping configuration and a drilling configuration and has a clamping sleeve and a chuck body in which clamping jaws are movably guided by a threaded connection. When a sliding sleeve is moved relative to the chuck body between a first position that corresponds to the clamping configuration and a second position that corresponds to the drilling configuration, a flow of force traveling from the motor via the machine spindle to the threaded connection is shifted to a flow of force traveling from the motor via the machine spindle to the chuck body and vice versa.

摘要: A chuck including a body having a nose section, a tail section and a center axis, the nose section defining an axial bore and a plurality of passageways. A plurality of jaws is disposed in the passageways, a nut is rotatably mounted about the body so that rotation of the nut either moves the jaws toward or away from the center axis, and a sleeve that is rotatably mounted about the body, the sleeve being rotatable with respect to the nut between a first rotational position and a second rotational position. An annular array of locking teeth is non-rotatable with respect to one of the body and the nut. A lock ring includes at least three projections and is axially movable so that, when engaged, the projections and the locking teeth resist the lock ring from rotating in the opening direction with respect to the body.

摘要: A chuck for use with a driver having a rotatable drive shaft, the chuck including a body having a nose section and a tail section, the tail section being configured to rotate with the drive shaft and the nose section having an axial bore. A plurality of jaws is movably disposed with respect to the body and in communication with the axial bore. A first sleeve is rotatably mounted to the body in operative communication with the jaws so that rotation of the sleeve moves the jaws either toward a longitudinal center axis of the axial bore or away from the longitudinal center axis. A second sleeve is rotatably mounted to the body and is movable between a first position in which the second sleeve is rotatably fixed to the body and a second position in which the second sleeve is rotatable about the body. The second sleeve moves in a direction transverse to the longitudinal center axis of the axial bore when moving between the first position and the second position.

摘要: The present invention discloses a self-locking mechanism for use in a drill chuck, comprising: clutch tooth sleeves, fixedly connected with the chuck body of the drill chuck and forming teeth; an oval deformation ring, having a substantially circular first shape and a substantially oval second shape, wherein the oval deformation ring has teeth on the side wall, with the teeth engaging with the teeth of the clutch tooth sleeve when the oval deformation ring is in the second shape; and a control sleeve, for controlling the conversion of the oval deformation sleeve between the first shape and the second shape. The present invention also discloses a force increasing self-locking drill chuck with said self-locking mechanism. The self-locking mechanism according to the present invention can be used in drill chucks of multiple structures, and provides a brand-new thought for the designs of the self-locking mechanisms of drill chucks.

摘要: A drill-chuck body is rotatable about an axis and formed with a plurality of passages opening axially rearward at a rear face of the body and radially outwardly at windows in a side of the body. Jaws displaceable between front and rear positions in the passages each have a row of teeth exposed radially outwardly at the respective windows. A tightening ring rotatable about the axis is formed with an internal screwthread engaged at the windows with the teeth such that rotation of the ring moves the jaws between the front and rear positions. A tightening sleeve fitted around and coupled rotationally to the tightening ring extends axially rearward past the windows. This brace ring is radially inwardly engaged with the body and engages radially outwardly between the windows and the rear face with the tightening sleeve so as to coaxially center it on the body.
