    摘要: A press for displacing a first wheel stud relative to a stud opening in a wheel flange of a wheel comprises a press assembly, a frame assembly, and a drive assembly. The frame assembly comprises a frame member and at least one adapter member. The drive assembly is configured to displace the press assembly relative to the frame assembly such that operation of the drive assembly displaces the first stud relative to the wheel flange. The adapter member is supported by the frame member and engages at least one of the wheel flange and a second wheel stud to support the press assembly in a desired orientation relative to the primary wheel stud when the drive assembly displaces the first stud relative to the stud opening.

    摘要: A sharp extractor has a ram that is actuatable to move from a disengaged position to an engaged position to dislodge a sharp from a medical device, and then return back to the disengaged position. With the medical device secured in axial alignment with the ram, the actuator is actuated to move to its engaged position, whereupon the sharp is detached from the medical device. The dislodged sharp is channeled directly into a medical waste container. Upon removing the sharp from the medical device, the medical device can be treated as standard medical waste, thereby reducing the cost associated with disposal of the medical device. With the volume of the sharp being greatly reduced as a result of removal from the relatively bulky medical device, the frequency of having to dispose the sharps can be greatly reduced, thereby further reducing cost associated with the disposal of the sharps.

    摘要: This disclosure describes embodiments of an apparatus for use to extract a rotor from a generator. The apparatus can include a central mount element that secures to the end of the rotor. A pair of support members coupled to the sides of the central mount element. The support members can include a load bearing element that permits travel of the apparatus on a surface, e.g., a platform proximate to the turbine generator. During implementation, the apparatus is configured to direct pulling forces along the center axis of the rotor to restrict movement of the rotor and, in particular, limit rotation of the rotor that can result in inadvertent contact with the stator or other parts of the generator.

The extraction device includes a means of gripping said wedge and, in conjunction with the upper horizontal face of each conductor, at least one jack directed vertically and including a body and a stem, stem (or said body) being interdependent with at least one horizontal support face directed downwards and laid out so that, when said extraction device is placed above said wedge to extract it, the upper horizontal face of each conductor is in line with one horizontal support face, b) said body (or said stem) being connected to said means of gripping said wedge, so that, when said jack is actuated to extract the wedge, said jack exerts opposing forces on said conductors and said wedge, tending to separate them.

    摘要: A bearing extractor including a probe having an inlet bore at one end for pressurised hydraulic fluid, an outlet for the pressurised hydraulic fluid in an outer circumference of the probe, and a seal on each side of the outlet for forming a seal between the probe outer circumference and a surrounding bearing surface. Pressurised hydraulic fluid is fed through bore to outlet. The fluid fills the gap between the bearing ends and forces the bearings apart, to urge at least one of them from the housing. Greater radial force is applied to one bearing by positioning the respective seal further from the gap, and that bearing is preferentially held in the housing, the other bearing being urged from the housing and carrying the extractor with it.

    摘要: The invention is related to a tube extracting device for removing a tube from a conventional drum of a boiler or heat exchanger. The device is positioned inside the drum. The device includes a hollow cylindrical wedge which cylindrically collapses a tube inwardly upon driving the wedge between the tube hole and outer tube wall. The wedge has longitudinal ridges on its inner surface and inwardly tapered edges at its end which is driven into the tube hole such that the tube may be readily inwardly collapsed. Upon retracting the wedge from the tube hole, the wedge engages the tube and the tube is removed from the drum inside the wedge.
