    摘要： A clamping device for a machine table comprises a clamping plate having a receptacle into which a draw-in bolt is insertable through an opening. A clamping mechanism immobilizes the draw-in bolt in the receptacle. A closure cap is movable inside the receptacle between a closed position and an operating position in which the closure cap is pushed into the receptacle by the draw-in bolt. The draw-in bolt is inserted into the receptacle and immobilized with the clamping mechanism. A centering surface is implemented on the end surface of the closure cap facing toward the outer side of the clamping device and/or on the end surface of the draw-in bolt facing toward the inner side of the clamping device. The centering surface pre-centers the draw-in bolt when it is inserted into the receptacle and its end surface thereby comes into contact with the end surface of the closure cap.

    摘要： An indexing device and method is provided to selectively orient work pieces at predetermined angular positions and hold the work pieces at those positions. The indexing device has a rotary member rotatably coupled to a support and a trigger pivotally coupled to the support. The rotary member holds a fixture and has a plurality of index pins extending from the rotary member at equally spaced about the axis of rotation. The trigger operates a stop assembly to engage holes in the rotary member to position the working holding fixture at the desired position. The indexing device is constructed such that the trigger and one of the index pins can be simultaneously contacted by a control member. The trigger includes an elongated contact surface along which the control member translates to contact the index pins and rotate the rotary member.

    摘要： A router guide apparatus for use in forming rosette designs in a work piece includes a frame having a work surface with a wheel rotatably mounted upon the work surface. The wheel has a plurality of position stops. The rosette design can be formed in a synthetic material (eg. Corian®) and filled with a filler or glue or settable material of a different color to form an inlaid design. The frame includes an adjustable guide for holding and a tracking a router with a cutting blade. The frame includes stops for limiting movement of the router during use. The guide and stops are configured to enable the cutting blade to cut two petals of a rosette design in a single pass. Inserts (fence blocks and/or router filler blocks) can be added to vary the position tracked by the router. The wheel is affixable into multiple angular positions relative to the guide so that multiple cuts can be made at different angular orientations relative to one another.

    摘要： A workpiece indexing and clamping system for machining the workpiece. Spherical or narrow cylindrical heads of index pins extend from holes in a base plate into workpiece holes to align and index the workpiece. The pin portions in the base plate holes can be expanded to lock them to the base plate. Each pin has relief flats parallel to the pin axis. Clamps engage workpiece edges with thread-like angled grooves on a cam surface to force workpiece edges against the base plate during machining of the workpiece. A central clamp has a pin extending from the base plate into a workpiece hole. Angled grooves in a cam surface are brought into contact with the hole sides to force the workpiece toward the base plate and hold the central area in place during machining.

    摘要： A contact detector for movable objects comprises two opposite circular plates in which a plurality of cylindrical depressed portions are equidistantly opened on the same circumferences from a common center axis of the two circular plates, respectively, a plurality of steel balls, having a diameter larger than the diameter of each depressed portion, inserted into corresponding depressed portions of the two circular plates, and hardened layers formed on the portions in contact with the steel balls of the circular plates by pressurizing two circular plates from the opposite sides of respective depressed portions. A portion of the surface of each steel ball is depressed into each recessed portion, and the one circular plate and the steel balls are pressed into contact with the other circular plate by an elastic member. The contact detector further comprises a switch responsive to displacement of one of the two circular plates, and an arm adapted to be in contact with an external portion of a movable body, which is provided on the other circular plate.
