摘要： A shears upper finger grip has a lower substantially flat inner surface arranged in a transverse plane substantially normal to a cutting plane and dimensioned and configured to enable substantially full insertion of a thumb metacarpal bone from a right lateral side and for receiving the ball of the thumb to enable the thumb to be moved to a position on a left lateral side to an orientation substantially parallel to the cutting plane and to position the hand's thenar eminence into abutment against the flat inner surface while positioning at least exterior right lateral portions of the upper finger grip in abutment against the palm beyond the hand's thenar crease and into the region of at least one of the hand's palmar creases to enable the thenar eminence and palm of the hand to oppose the forces applied by the fingers acting on the lower finger grip.

摘要： Conventional herb strippers can be tedious, time consuming, and awkward to use. Accordingly, the present inventors devised new tools and methods that allow faster and easier herb stripping. One tool includes an herb stripping notch configured to engage the plant stem of an herb at an intermediate point between its two ends, with the edges of the notch stripping leaves as the notch is moved over the stem or the stem is pulled through the notch. In some embodiments, one or more of these notches, for example six, are included in a blade structure, with the notches arranged in a smallest-to-largest sequence. The blade structure may also includes a knife edge, enabling it to serve the added function of a knife.

摘要： A pair of scissors has two shears movably mounted to pivot about an axis, each of the shears having a blade (3) extended by a shank (4, 5). The first shank (4) is covered by a grip in the form of an elongate body that is provided with a lateral opening (8) and that is suitable for being inserted transversely between two fingers of a hand to a position where it bears against the crook where the two fingers meet. The second shank (5) is terminated by a half-ring forming a cradle (10) for receiving the thumb. The first shank (4) is a bent shank. The lateral opening (8) in the elastically deformable grip extends into the inside of the grip forming a sheath into which the first shank (4) can be inserted in adjustable manner by slidable movement. The end of the cradle (10) that is closer to the first shank (4) is bent towards the inside of the cradle to form an abutment (11) for retaining the thumb.

The ergonomic handle is compatible with the muscle movements of an operator using a hand tool reducing muscle strain and pain. In an embodiment, the finger handle can have a finger set which has a forward finger flange, a tail finger flange and a pinky grip. The ergonomic handle can also use a relief washer system to achieve a smooth low frictional resistance cutting stroke.
