摘要: A method and apparatus for mounting an in-line robot includes structure and/or steps for mounting a beam having an axis of travel. The in-line robot is preferably mounted on an injection molding machine. At least two mountings are provided, with a first mounting provided on a stationary platen of said injection molding machine, and a second flexible mounting provided on a portion of a clamping assembly. Preferably, the second flexible mounting is provided on a clamp block. The flexible mounting includes a first structure for fastening to a portion of the clamping assembly, and a second structure for fastening to the beam. The flexible mounting also includes a spacer extending between the first and second structures for fastening, and the spacer is attached to the first and second structures for fastening by first and second connectors, respectively. The flexible mounting permits secure fastening of the beam to the clamping assembly regardless of any changes in the position of the clamping assembly with respect to the beam.

摘要: There is provided a mounting structure for an apparatus for taking out a molded product, the mounting structure being configured to reduce a burden imposed on a worker required to mount the apparatus for taking out a molded product. Upright wall portions of a pair of side plates are formed with a work window. Extended wall portions are formed with a work assist window. The work window is formed to have a size that allows a worker, who is at a location at which the worker can insert bolts into three through holes in a first through hole row, to insert bolts into three through holes in a second through hole row without changing the worker's location.

摘要: A molded parison handling apparatus for removing hollow plastic parisons used in the manufacture of oriented plastic bottles from an injection molding machine includes a base having an arm coupled to the injection molding machine. A carriage mounted on the arm moves in a first dimension into and out of the space between the molding elements of the molding machine. A frame cooling unit coupled to the carriage engages the body portion of a set of parisons as they are released from the molding machine. A first motor moves the cooling apparatus to any of three preselected positions along the first dimension located outside the molding machine. A transfer assembly includes three sets of grabbers mounted on a gantry for movement with respect to the base. One set of grabbers grabs the finish portion of the parisons from the cooling apparatus. A second and third motor then translates the transfer assembly to one of two remote locations where a stationary cooler receives the body portion of the parisons for additional cooling. The transfer assembly then withdraws a fully cooled set of parisons from one of the stationary coolers, deposits the fully cooled parisons on an exit conveyor, and returns to grab another set of newly released parisons from the frame cooling unit.

摘要: An apparatus for taking out a molded product, which is capable of taking out a resin molded product in fewer steps than ever, includes: a transverse frame disposed above a resin injection molding machine to extend in a transverse direction which is orthogonal to a longitudinal direction; an orthogonal frame supported by the transverse frame so as to be movable at least in the transverse direction; a vertical arm provided at the orthogonal frame so as to be movable up and down at least in the vertical direction; and a holding member provided at a distal end portion of the vertical arm to hold a resin molded product formed by the resin injection molding machine. The vertical arm is disposed so as to be inclined such that the axis line of an elevating shaft of the vertical arm forms an acute angle with respect to a perpendicular extending in the vertical direction.

摘要: An extracting device for easily exchanging a mold. The extracting device is attached to an upper side of a molding machine using an adapter plate. The extracting device includes a plurality of arms configured to rotate about vertical axes and a vertical motion arm, having a gripper, mounted to the end of the arms. The mold attached or to be attached to a mold fixing member is lifted, lowered or translated to the side of the molding machine. The arms of the extracting device are rotated to be away from a conveying path of the mold such that the arms do not obstruct the conveying path. In this way, a useful conveying path of the mold may be maintained, thereby the mold or a part of a crane or the like for the mold does not contact the extracting device and the mold may be easily exchanged.

摘要: A method and apparatus for mounting an in-line robot includes structure and/or steps for mounting a beam having an axis of travel. The robot controller (17) creates a virtual robot model (21) from these stored data. For validation of a workflow sequence, the robot controller (17) uses the current teaching program (20) in the robot controller (17) whereby the visualization of the workflow sequence is displayed directly on an output unit of the robot controller (17).

In moving the injection molding machine body (1) to another location, the robot (17) and the peripheral equipment (18) can be transported together with the injection molding machine body (1). Thus, detachment of the peripheral equipments from the injection molding machine and re-connection of cables and piping become unnecessary, and also the relative positioning does not displaced.
