    摘要: A printing head for a wire dot printer includes a plurality of printing levers connected to a corresponding plurality of printing wires. A plurality of guide holes are operable for guiding the distal ends of the printing wires beyond a nose of the printing head. Each guide hole corresponds to one of the plurality of printing levers. As viewed from the nose of the printing head, each printing lever extends radially from its corresponding guide hole and the inner ends of the printing levers form a zig-zag pattern. A plurality of plate springs provides the resilient force to push the printing levers and thereby the printing wires toward the nose of the printing head. A spacer for supporting the plate springs equalizes the effective length of each plate spring.

    摘要: A printing head for a dot matrix printer is disclosed which facilitates assembly and disassembly and improves printing quality.The printing head has a plurality of hammers carrying respective printing wires, a plurality of coils each of which corresponds to each of the hammers, and a permanent magnet for retaining the hammers at the standing positions thereof, so that the magnetic flux of the permanent magnet is cancelled by exciting the coils so as to release the hammers, thereby driving the printing wires by virtue of the elasticity of the hammers. The printing head includes an annular base which is provided with, at the outer portion thereof, a hammer mounting portion for securing a plurality of hammer base portions, at the inner portion thereof, a plurality of implanted columnar cores around which respective coils are wound, and a short-circuiting portion which constitutes the closed magnetic circuits of the respective coils in cooperation with respective hammers. The permanent magnet is attached to the outside of the short-circuiting portion and the hammer mounting portions at the outer periphery of the base. The printing head is sub-assembled before the attachment of the permanent magnet.

    摘要: A print head having magnetic members attracted by a permanent magnet while resiliently deflecting resilient members connected to one ends thereof associated with corresponding solenoids adapted to selectively release the associated magnetic members by cancelling the magnetic attracting force of the permanent magnet, so that the magentic member is actuated by the energy stored in the resilient members to drive printing elements into a printing position. To reduce the moment of inertia of the magnetic member, the magnetic pole surface of the permanent magnet or a yoke mounted on the permanent magnet is contacted with one end of the magnetic member to form a fulcrum for the rotation of the magnetic member. The magnetic pole surface of the permanent magnet or yoke on the permanent magnet and at least the fulcrum portion of the magnetic member are provided with hardened wear-resistant layers formed, for example, by plating with nickel, thereby achieving a higher resistance to wear. The wear of the magnetic pole surface of the fulcrum and of the magnetic member are reduced thereby avoiding non-uniformity of the moment of force in the magnetic members, as well as the resilient force in the resilient members, thereby ensuring a high uniformity of the impacting force applied to all printing elements.

    摘要: A dot matrix print head in which the mass of the armature is reduced by providing a groove in the armature in the portion where the magnetic flux density is relatively low. The armature may be advantageously attached to a sheet spring by laser welding applied from the bottom surface of the groove without creating craters in the external face of the sheet spring. Reduction in the mass of the armature allows a substantial increase in the print speed of the print head. Use of laser welding reduces the manufacturing cost of the print head and the absence of any craters in the external face of the sheet spring is favorable for the performance of the magnetic circuit of the print head.

    摘要: An impact printer has a flux regulator for each of the coils in its printhead. Each regulator provides a reference voltage indicative of the desired flux in the associated coil. A circuit is provided for measuring the flux in the coil and for providing a voltage representative thereof. The measured flux representation is compared with the reference flux representation and any difference is applied to a power circuit which then provides more or less power to the associated coil.

A radially inwardly and outwardly recessed intermediate plate is interposed between the permanent magnet and the armature ring.

    摘要: A print head for dot printers comprising a plurality of actuators each including an armature supported on a holder through a torsion spring and having at its end a printing wire. The torsion spring is inserted in and bonded to the inner wall of through-holes of the bifurcated end portion of one of the armature and holder and to the inner wall of through-hole of the other of them, and has larger diameter portions fitted in the through-holes and smaller diameter portions interposed between the larger diameter portions. The smaller diameter portions of the torsion spring are formed in the concave section to avoid the concentration of torsional stress in the stepped boundary portions. Further, the opposite end portion of the other of said holder and armature made larger in thickness than the axial length of the torsion spring from the reason in strength, is forced at both end openings of the through hole with bevelling or facing portions, whereby the armature can be swung with uniform spring force of the torsion spring without being adversely affected by solder material leaked out.
