摘要： A tape printing device or the like in which the loading of a tape cartridge can be detected and in which the misalignment of the loaded tape cartridge can be restrained at the same time, is provided. A tape printing device includes: a cartridge loading section in which a tape cartridge is loaded in an unloadable manner; a push switch which is provided in the cartridge loading section and detects the loaded tape cartridge. The push switch has a stem which is energized in a protruding direction by a build-in spring, and the stem in an actuated state energizes the loaded tape cartridge in a direction intersecting with a loading direction.

摘要： A tape cartridge to be installed in a cartridge installation portion of a tape printing apparatus, to which the tape cartridge is detachably installed and which includes an installation base for positioning the tape cartridge, includes a printing tape and a cartridge casing in which the printing tape is accommodated and forms an outer shell of the tape cartridge. The cartridge casing includes a first casing disposed at a front side of the tape when the tape cartridge is installed in the cartridge installation portion, and a second casing disposed at a back side of the tape cartridge when the tape cartridge is installed in the cartridge installation portion. The first casing is formed with an elastic portion which is deformed by a pressing force of a pressing portion of the tape printing apparatus on a casing wall of the first casing at the frond side of the tape cartridge.

The cartridge casing includes an insertion opening in which a head cover on a cartridge installation portion is inserted when the tape cartridge is installed on the cartridge installation portion. The insertion opening includes an inner wall portion including a first inner wall that is disposed at a printing tape accommodation side of the insertion opening and a second inner wall that is disposed at a winding up core side of the insertion opening, and a facing portion that is a corner portion formed by the first inner wall and the second inner wall and faces a convex portion on one of the corners of the head cover when the tape cartridge is installed on the cartridge installation portion.

摘要： A ribbon cassette includes: a cassette case having first and second holes; an ink ribbon; first and second spools; an engaging part; and a spring member. The ink ribbon has one end wound on the first spool, and another end connected to a first end portion of the second spool. The spring member is wound around a second portion of the second spool. The spring member includes: a winding part wound around the second portion; and an extension part extending from the winding part and engaged with the engaging part. The winding part is wound in a direction opposite to a take-up direction of the second spool. A second draw-out load applied to the ink ribbon being pulled from the second spool through the second hole is smaller than a first draw-out load applied to the ink ribbon being pulled from the first spool through the first hole.

A second release agent layer is provided on an inner surface of the non-print portion such that the second release agent layer contacts the adhesive layer and the first release agent layer.
