Abstract:
A folder including a main panel, a pocket panel coupled to the main panel and defining a pocket therebetween, and a divider coupled to the main panel. The divider is movable between an inserted position wherein at least part of the divider is positioned in the pocket, and a retracted position wherein the at least part of the divider is not positioned in the pocket. The divider includes at least one of a slit or a notch to provide ease of movement of the divider in moving between the inserted position and the retracted position.
Abstract:
A folder system including a folder having a first panel and a second panel pivotally coupled to the first panel along a pivot line. The folder further includes a spine portion positioned between the first and second panels at the pivot line, wherein said spine portion includes a hole formed therethrough. The spine portion further includes a slit extending from an outer edge of the spine portion to the hole to enable a binding device to be passed through the slit into the hole.
Abstract:
An ordered stack of bound sheets may comprise a set of printed product information sheets. An individual bound sheet may comprise a single printed product information sheet or may comprise a plurality of printed product information sheets. Each of the individual printed product information sheets may be detached from the ordered stack of bound sheets in the order in which the printed product information sheets are presented. The individual printed product information sheets (which are detached from the ordered stack in order) may be connected to structures in the stores based on a planogram for a set of products for display in the store. The order of the printed product information sheets may match an order in which the sheets are positioned based on the planogram.
Abstract:
A bound device including a binding device, a plurality of papers bound to the binding device, and a pocket bound to the binding device. The pocket includes a first major panel and a second major panel coupled together along a major fold line and configured such that the first and second major panels are generally parallel and overlap in a thickness direction of the pocket. The pocket further includes a first pocket panel coupled to the first major panel and defining a first pocket with the first major panel. The first pocket panel has an edge positioned adjacent to a mouth of the first pocket. The pocket further has a second pocket panel coupled to the second major panel and defining a second pocket with the second major panel. The second pocket panel has an edge positioned adjacent to a mouth of the second pocket. The pocket includes a first reinforcing material positioned on the first pocket panel adjacent to the mouth of the first pocket, wherein the first reinforcing material extends along the edge of the first pocket panel. The pocket also includes a second reinforcing material positioned on the second pocket panel adjacent to the mouth of the second pocket, wherein the second reinforcing material extends along the edge of the second pocket panel.
Abstract:
A binder for holding documents is disclosed. The binder has a spine with a pair of cover flaps attached to each side of the spine. Attached to the spine is a latching device, also referred to as a locking device, that includes a first retaining member, a latching member, and a second retaining member. The first and second retaining members are parallel to each other and extend perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the spine. The binder is configured to hold a plurality of document modules, each of which hold a set of documents, which are flexible sheets of material, such as paper or plastic. Each module has first and second ends. The first end is contoured to mate with a portion of an external profile of the first retaining member. The second end attaches to the second retaining member. The latching member moves between a latched position where it engages the first end of the module and an unlatched position where it is not engaged to the first end of said module.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a page for binding in an album. The page includes a blank, printer paper sheet and a hinge strip mounted along an edge of the printer paper sheet, the hinge strip including a flexible line for allowing the hinge strip to bend along the flexible line and a portion for binding to an album. The paper sheet and the hinge strip are adapted to go through a printer together to provide a ready-to-bind printed page.
Abstract:
A bound system including a plurality of pages and a cover/divider including a bound outer edge and a plurality of free outer edges. The cover/divider is bound to the plurality of pages along the bound edge. The cover/divider includes one or more discrete tabs extending generally outwardly relative to one of the free edges. Each tab is integrally formed from a single piece of material with the rest of the cover/divider. Each tab further has an opening formed therethrough and is configured to receive at least part of a binding device therethrough to thereby couple the cover/divider to the binding device.

Abstract:
This invention relates to a sleeve for holding two or more digital video discs in a vertically aligned or stacked relationship on a first side of a carrying sleeve and the accompanying graphics on an opposing side.
Abstract:
A book block is contemplated to be bound in its individual sections through various techniques. These sections will be attached to the book cover by a magnetic or mechanical way. The user of the book will then be allowed to select and detach individual sections of the book without destroying the integrity of the entire book block. Likewise, publishers of the book are now able to update and/or replace sections of an entire book block without needing to reprint and republish the whole book.
