摘要： An actuating device for controlling a functional component of a motor vehicle is arranged on the motor vehicle. The motor vehicle has a functional component for providing a vehicle function and a display actuation device arranged on the motor vehicle for controlling a functional component. The display actuation device has a display providing visually detectable function actuation elements. In order to activate a vehicle function the display actuation device has a release device so that the display can be actuated between a blocking position blocking the actuation of the function actuation elements and an active position releasing the actuation of the function actuation elements. The display actuation device has a key element that cooperates with the release device and, when cooperating with the release device, actuates the display means into the active position.

摘要： An adjustable door assembly for a vehicle door can include a striker and an adjustable mechanism connected to the striker that moves the striker to any of a plurality of positions that range from a first position through a second position. The adjustable mechanism can include one of a geared mechanism and a cam lock mechanism. The geared mechanism can include a pinion gear and a rack gear engaging the pinion gear. The striker can be mounted onto the rack gear to move the striker to any of the plurality of positions. The cam lock mechanism can include a first tube, a second tube telescoping in the first tube, a locking bolt, and a lever. The lever can selectively move the locking bolt to an unlocked state that permits the second tube to telescope inside the first tube and move the striker between the first position and the second position.

摘要： Examples of the disclosure relate to example systems and methods for operating a see-through display for a vehicle. An example system includes a video camera positioned to capture video related to a vehicle structure that blocks a view of the driver. The system also includes a see-through display disposed inside the vehicle between the vehicle structure and the driver. The system also includes a processor configured to identify a closest object within a field of view of the video camera, determine a distance to the closest object, and process the captured video based, at least in part, on the distance to determine a portion of the captured video to be displayed on the see-through display. The processor renders the portion of the captured video to create a see-through effect relative to the vehicle structure.
