摘要： Provided is an elevating platform assembly comprising: a pair of spaced linkage arms having a platform end and a frame end; wherein each pair of spaced linkage arms comprise an upper-arm and lower-arm; the upper-arm consisting of a platform link hingedly connected to a frame link; adjustable platform stops adjustably connected to bottom portions of the frame links and adapted to engage a bottom edge of the platform links; wherein the adjustable platform stop is capable of adjusting a connection angle between the hingedly connected platform link and frame link resulting in a leveling adjustment for an attached horizontal platform extending between and connected to the platform ends of the spaced linkage arms; and wherein the horizontal platform is capable of moving between a lowered position on the ground to a raised position in substantial alignment with a loading platform.

摘要： A lift apparatus (100) for a vehicle comprises a lifting platform (115) and a movable connection assembly (110) for deploying and operating the lifting platform (115). The movable connection assembly (110) comprises at least two pairs of hydraulically driven lifting arms (145, 146) on either side of the lifting platform (115) and pivotally connected at a first end to a base (140) and at a second end to the lifting platform (115), at least two hydraulic actuators being disposed in connection with each pair of arms (145, 146) acting in substantially the same direction as each other. The hydraulic actuators are powered by a common source. The lift can be used to allow wheelchair bound passengers to board the vehicle or for lifting heavy articles onto the vehicle.

A pair of frame adapters (71) attach the unitary frame (12) to the vehicle (60). The frame adapters (71) have slots (75) to allow an adjustment of the lift gate (10) relative to the vehicle (60). Furthermore, the lift gate (10) is configured so that multiple units can be stacked together for shipping and ease of unloading and loading.

摘要： A main frame pivotally supports the forward ends of a laterally spaced apart pair of parallelogram linkage systems. Each linkage system comprises an upper link and a two section lower link, rear ends of which are pivotally interconnected to a rear shackle, the lower end of which has a ground engageable roller. A load platform is pivotally connected along its forward edge to the rear ends of the upper links. The rear sections of the lower links are rigidly interconnected by a lift frame that is fitted at its opposite ends with upstanding crank members. A hydraulic piston cylinder mechanism is mounted adjacent each linkage system with its butt end pivotally connected to the main frame and the piston rod of each cylinder is pivotally connected to one of the upstanding crank members. The forward and rear sections of each lower link are pivotally interconnected by a knuckle pin and each lower link includes stops to bidirectionally limit relative angular displacement of the two sections. The geometry of the mechanism generates moments with respect to the knuckle pin in substantially all elevations of the linkage systems, other than contact of the shackle roller with ground, in the direction tending to align the pair of sections of each lower link. When the platform is lowered to be primarily supported by ground the resultant of the moments tends to misalign the pair of sections of each lower link to effect a ramping action of the platform.

The latch means includes one or more pins on the platform which, when the platform is in its operative load lifting relationship relative to the linkage, engage a bed extension plate to establish the upper limit of movement of the platform and to restrain the platform against transverse movement relative to the frame, such as might be encountered during transferring articles between the platform and the load carrying bed of the truck.

摘要： A load-carrying vehicle has a load-carrying bed opposite sides of which extend lengthwise of the vehicle. At least one support rail extends along one of the sides at the underside of the bed at least when in use. A supporting frame is mounted on the bed below the same and has an open side. Loading platform means is provided including a slidable frame mounted in the supporting frame for movement relative to the same between an extended and a withdrawn position in the first of which it respectively is withdrawn from the supporting frame through the open side thereof and extends at least in part laterally beyond the one side, and in the second of which it is withdrawn in its entirety inwardly of said one side. Connecting means connects the slidable frame with the support rail for movement lengthwise of the same when the slidable frame is in the extended position. Ground support means supports the part of the slidable frame which extends beyond said one side, on the ground when the slidable frame is in the extended position.
