    Abstract: A method includes: receiving, for items in a staging area, item identifiers and staged locations in facility coordinates, as detected via a sensor; obtaining a load configuration including a load sequence defining an order for loading the items into a container, and a load location within the container for each item, in container coordinates; according to the load sequence, for each item: retrieving the corresponding staged location (in facility coordinates) and load location (in container coordinates); providing loading guidance including the retrieved staged location and the retrieved load location, for rendering of the loading guidance in one of the facility coordinate system and the container coordinate system; and responsive to placement of the item in the container, receiving and storing an actual load location, in the container coordinate system; and during an unloading operation, presenting unloading guidance including the actual load locations of the items.

    Abstract: Provided is a conveyance system for an object and for conveying the object to a container mounted on a chassis of a trailer. The conveyance system includes a jack device that lifts the chassis from below, and a stage device arranged behind the jack device. The stage device includes a conveyance body on which the object is placed and conveyed, a stage on which the conveyance body travels, a mobile body supporting the stage and capable of movement in a front-back direction of the chassis, and a jack mechanism provided to the mobile body and that raises the stage from below to lift or lower the stage. The mobile body moves forward and the jack mechanism lowers the stage while the jack device raises the chassis, and the conveyance body travels on floor faces of the stage and the container in this state to convey the object to the container.

    Abstract: In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to end-to-end optimization for the loading of delivery vehicles with merchandise items at merchandise distribution centers. In some embodiments, there is provided a system including: merchandise items; a merchandise distribution center; conveyor assemblies extending from a merchandise storage area to a merchandise loading area, loading mechanism(s) in the merchandise loading area for assisting in the transport of merchandise items from conveyor assemblies to delivery vehicles; and a central computing system configured to: receive a first signal regarding each merchandise item; receive a second signal regarding the loading space of the delivery vehicle; determine the arrival of merchandise items in the loading area; coordinate the transport of merchandise items from conveyor assemblies to the loading space using the loading mechanism(s); and determine an arrangement and instruct a sequence of loading of the merchandise items in the loading space.
