Abstract:
A securement mat for mitigating the migration of loads within a shipping vessel. The securement mat having a length, a width, and a height, and including a first subsection and a second subsection, wherein an area of the second subsection is less than an area of the first subsection. The securement mat has a first fold boundary along the length or width of the sheet and proximate to one edge of the sheet defining a boundary between the first and second subsection, wherein the first subsection exhibits a first incline by folding, along the first fold boundary, the second subsection underneath the first subsection. The securement mat also has a notch on each end of the first fold boundary to facilitate folding of the second subsection under the first subsection.
Abstract:
A flammable liquid transport system includes a container that may contain a flammable liquid. A bag is provided and the bag may be transported in a vehicle. The container is positioned within the bag. Thus, the bag inhibits the flammable liquid from spilling into the vehicle. The bag is comprised of a fire resistant and fluid impermeable material.

The securement mat has a first fold boundary along the length or width of the sheet and proximate to one edge of the sheet defining a boundary between the first and second subsection, wherein the first subsection exhibits a first incline by folding, along the first fold boundary, the second subsection underneath the first subsection.
Abstract:
A controllable surface system comprises a platform providing a system surface and a controlling device for controlling the platform and adjusting the surface friction between slippery and non-slippery.
Abstract:
The present invention achieves easy manufacturing of a slip stopper that has a great slip stopping effect and can be used for a location where a problem occurs if a though hole is opened therein. After a protruding portion is formed by using a first punching die unit so as to protrude from the upper surface of a steel plate 5 in a plate thickness direction, a concave portion 8 and drain channels 9 are formed in the protruding portion by shear planes that face almost perpendicularly to the steel plate upper surface and have been half-blanked so as not to open a through hole in the steel plate by using a second punching die unit 11, whereby it becomes possible to readily manufacture an excellent slip stopper.
Abstract:
A load restraint system and method for securing cargo within transport containers such as intermodal containers including first and second load restraining strips with an adhesive coating on one surface of the strips for adherence to sidewalls of an intermodal container and a locking load restraining strip for bonding the free ends of the first and second load restraining strips together into a load restraining system.
Abstract:
Planar structure from a plurality of folding portionsA planar structure from a plurality of folding portions which are interconnected by way of integral hinges and which are erectable to a functional position so as to form a three-dimensional body, wherein fixing means are provided for mutually fixing the folding portions in the erected functional position, is known.According to the invention, the folding portions are of triangular design in such a manner that the folding portions are erectable to form a supporting corner in the form of a triangular pyramid.Employment in the cargo space of passenger motor vehicles.
Abstract:
An apparatus for assisting in loading and unloading a snowmobile having spaced apart skis with runners extending from bottom surfaces thereof or for providing traction for loading and unloading a vehicle with a plurality of tires onto a trailer surface includes a base for attaching to the surface of the trailer. Upper surfaces of the base and bars reduces friction between the skis and surface of the trailer. The base also includes a trailing edge for providing traction for the plurality of tires for loading and unloading the vehicle.
Abstract:
A method for loading tube bundles on a railcar includes placing the tube bundles lengthwise on the car and stacked above the bed of the car to form tube bundle packs. The packs are separated by panels. A spacing block is configured to go within the longitudinally extending remaining space left over after loading a finite number of packs. This spacing block include parallel plates which are rigidly displaced one from another by blocks. Padding is arranged on the outer side of the plates and the panels. Padding is arranged on the bulkheads as well. The panels and spacing block may be tied to the railcar through boards and dunnage.
Abstract:
In an antiskid container comprising a bottom wall and side walls, at least the bottom wall is provided on its bottom and its top sides with antiskid surface areas.
