In embodiments, a shackle assembly includes a seat frame component, a shackle pivotally attached to the seat component and attachable to a lap belt component, a deformable link attached to the shackle and the seat component, an attachment guide configured to travel along the guideway, and an energy attenuator positioned in the guideway. In use, each of the deformable link and the energy attenuator undergo plastic deformation during rotary motion of the shackle to attenuate impact energy.

摘要： A seat belt restraint system locking tongue (10) having a locking member (30) which moves to a locked position to clamp a webbing (3) inserted in a shoulder-side webbing insertion slot (12) to restrict movement of the webbing (3). A tongue body (11) includes a restricting portion (25) near the shoulder-side webbing insertion slot (12) to clamp the webbing (3) with the locking member (30) when the locking member (3) moves to the locked position. The length in the longitudinal direction of the webbing insertion slot (12), of a portion of the restricting portion (25) that contacts the webbing (3) to clamp the webbing (3) is smaller than the width of the webbing (3). The locking tongue prevents fraying of the webbing (3) and improves the clamping performance in the event of a vehicle crash.

The molded piece may comprise one or more recesses designed to accommodate the body of a passenger. The at least one second contact zone may be disposed in an area of the seat that receives the buttocks of a passenger, thereby providing additional support in a load bearing area of the seat.

According to the invention, the clamping element and/or the clamping stop has a clamping contour, with which the belt strap can be clamped tightly in the clamping position over a belt strap width in a non-linear and/or uneven clamping force distribution.

In addition, the soldier restraint system includes mounting assemblies. The straps attach the seat to the mounting assemblies. The mounting assemblies are securable to the vehicle. Attachment of at least one of the straps to the seat is releasable by a release assembly. The soldier restraint system also includes a strap retractor and a retractor strap. The retractor strap is extractable from the strap retractor. The retractor strap is retractable by the strap retractor. The strap retractor retracts the retractor strap upon achieving a strap threshold.

The rigid non-flexible elongated flat strip will stand upright when removably attached to the female connector and has a length that is between two and sixteen inches. The rigid elongated flat strip also has a bend that will locates the female connector of the seat belt extender sideways out away from the side of the seat by a distance of between one inch and four inches when removably attached to the female connector.
