The flat wiper includes a longitudinal wiper blade, at least one longitudinal stiffening member, a longitudinal member for retaining the wiper blade and the stiffening member, a longitudinal streamlined portion comprising two terminal caps and a central mounting extending between the terminal caps and being connected thereto. The mounting has means for fixing to the stiffening member or to the member for retaining the stiffening member, and each cap includes means for guiding in translation terminal parts of said member.

    摘要： A windscreen wiper device of the flat blade type comprising an elastic, elongated carrier element, as well as an elongated wiper blade of a flexible material having one groove, in which groove a longitudinal strip of the carrier element is disposed. Free ends of the wiper blade are connected to a respective connecting piece. The wiper blade is provided with a spoiler and at least one connecting piece having an internal reinforcement rib connecting lateral sides of the connecting piece. The spoiler is removed along a portion of the length of the wiper blade at a free end of the wiper blade facing the connecting piece. In the mounted position the internal transverse reinforcement rib; abuts the spoiler.

The ends of the spring rails are connected with one another by a bridge in that side parts of the bridge are supported at the upper side of the spring rail and engage recesses of the spring rails, whereas a middle part of the bridge bridges a back strip of the wiper strip, which forms the upper boundary of the longitudinal grooves. It is proposed that the spring rails, at their front faces, have short slots, which extend in the longitudinal direction of the spring rails and which are engaged by the I-shaped angle pieces of the bridge. Lower legs of the angle pieces are directed towards the middle of the spring rails, gripping these from below.

The windscreen wiper device includes a connecting device for an oscillating arm, wherein the oscillating arm is pivotally connected with its first end to the connecting device and with its second end to a mounting head on a drive shaft, and wherein the oscillating arm is provided with a longitudinally extending base and two spaced-apart sidewalls extending outwardly along opposite sides of the base to form a tube having an open face. The oscillating arm is produced integrally form a single sheet material, wherein outboard edges of the sidewalls are folded inwardly towards each other to partially close the open face of the tube.
