摘要： A pivoting watertight door has at least one panel with two parallel bars mounted thereon by means of links. At least one link forms a catch for locking the door in a closed position. The links are mounted so as to pivot on the door panel and also on the parallel bars where the bars are connected together at their ends, in pairs, and facing each other. Two connecting links are mounted so as to pivot on the one hand on the panel and on the other hand on two facing ends of the bars.

摘要： A door structure has a first plate with an opening enclosed by a peripheral edge and a door connected to this first plate by a hinge construction, which first plate carries a number of clamps which are simultaneously rotatable by an operating mechanism with an operating handle and through rotation can co-act with the peripheral surfaces of corresponding non-round continuous holes in the door. The peripheral surfaces each have a contact surface inclining relative to the main plane of the door structure, and the continuous holes have a form such that the clamps can pass therethrough. The peripheral edge is deformable under the influence of an air pressure pulse acting on the door structure in the closed position such that at least the door can be pressed out of the main plane it occupies when the door structure is in the closed position while maintaining the sealing co-action between the door and the peripheral edge, and the mechanical integrity of the door structure.

摘要： A door assembly includes a main door body with an interior flange and an exterior flange, both extending parallel and generally away from the main door body. A door frame surrounds the door body when the latter is in a closed position, the door frame having an inner and outer flange, both of the latter extending generally toward the main door body when in its closed position. Two gaskets are provided between a flange of the door frame and a flange of the door, whereby movement of the main door body in a given direction generally perpendicular to the direction in which the flanges extend causes the gasket to be compressed. One of the flanges of the door has a plurality of spaced-apart compression members, for each of which a latch member is provided, each latch member having a pressure component and being mounted to the door frame for movement between a first position in which the pressure component presses against the respective compression member in the direction which compresses the gasket, and a second position in which the pressure component does not press against the compression member. Finally, a linkage assembly interconnects all latch numbers and moves them in tandem between their respective first and second positions. The linkage assembly includes operating means for operating the linkage assembly.

摘要： A clip system for clamping a panel element against a rebate comprises a bolt which is movable between a first position for clamping the panel element against a rebate and a second position for releasing the panel element, and an operating mechanism for moving the bolt. According to the invention, depending on the position of the bolt, there is a variable transmission ratio between the operating mechanism and the bolt, with a reduction which increases as the bolt in a path near the first position nears said first position. Operation of the bolt consequently requires little force and can be carried out with a short movement. The clip system can be achieved by a simple construction requiring little maintenance.

摘要： A watertight door seal compression indication apparatus is provided that includes a watertight door in a frame that has a casket disposed in a channel around the periphery of the door. A knife-edge on the doorframe is positioned to compress the gasket upon latching the door shut. Numerous switches are placed between the channel and the gasket and the switches are closed when the knife-edge edge fully compresses the gasket. A display that is responsive to the switches indicates whether the gasket was sufficiently compressed or not by either a green LED or a red LED respectively.

摘要： The invention concerns a ship's door or ship's frame arrangement which is provided with a door frame and a removable door leaf mounted in it. Peripherally mounted on one of the mutually facing peripheral edges of the frame and the door leaf and serving as a dynamic seal is an elastic tube which is connected to a pressure medium source and which, when pressurized, presses between the peripheral edges of the frame and the door leaf, thereby forming a seal between them and, when depressurized, lifts away from the opposite peripheral edges to form an annular clearance. In addition to the dynamic seal, a peripheral static seal is provided which serves as a spray-guard.
