    摘要: A gyroplane comprises a fuselage 1 with a cockpit, with a folding strut mounted on it, a rotor head 3, with adjustable torsional hub 16 and pusher propeller 5 with adjustable pitch. In order to uniformly distribute the load applied on the torsional hub 16, on the rotor head 3 while prespinning of the rotor blades 4, the torsional bar is performed from substantially straight composite plates. In order to reduce vibration on the control stick in-flight, the surface of fastening the rocking joint 15 of the torsional hub 16, is turned at the angle not more than 40 degrees to the longitudinal axis of the torsional hub 16 of the rotor blades 4. In order to reduce the load applied on the gyroplane control stick in-flight, the rotor head 3 is fastened to the strut through a frame joint 9 with trunnion offset forwardly in pitch. In order to set the thrust rating in-flight, the pusher propeller 5 is provided with an adjustable torsional hub 16 performed of composite plates. The propeller 5 with adjustable pitch can be applied in both pushing and pulling variants and can be used in any aircraft plane.

    摘要: An engine propeller and rotor installation includes an enginedriven variable pitch propeller and a rotor which can, under certain conditions, be driven by the engines with the propeller. Propeller pitch is adjustable by a pitch control system in response to input or datum signals and in response to engine torque signals. These signals are applied to the system in a manner such that, without substantially reducing the power transmitted to the rotor, propeller blade pitch is changed to reduce power absorption by the propeller by an amount necessary for the engine to avoid reaching a stalled condition.

    摘要: A rotary aircraft has a fuselage with wings and a rotor. The blades of the rotor are twistable about a pitch axis to vary collective pitch. A collective pitch shaft moves in an advancing direction to increase the collective pitch. Weights are mounted to the blades for outward movement along the blades in response to an increase in rotational speed of the blades. A linkage between each of the weights and the collective pitch shaft moves the collective pitch shaft in the advancing direction in response to an increase in rotational speed. A spring acting through a cam mechanism exerts a non linear force in opposition to the outward movement of the blades.
