    摘要： A carrier for beverage containers in which the beverage containers are of a type which have a bottom wall, an upstanding side wall and an openable top. The carrier is formed of a one-piece member formed of a non-plastic material formed into first and second halves adjoining each other at a first fold line. Each half is comprised of counting from the first fold line a handle segment forming the first fold line, a first side wall segment adjoining the handle segment at a second fold line and having first and second side margins, a bottom wall segment adjoining the first side wall segment along a third fold line, a second side wall segment adjoining the bottom wall segment along a fourth fold line and having first and second side edges, first and second end wall segments adjoining respectively the first and second side edges of the second side wall segment. An interlocking tab assembly is carried by the first and second end margins and the first and second side margins for fastening together the first and second end wall segments of one half to the corresponding first and second end wall segments of the other half after the first and second end wall segments have been folded along the fold lines with the wall segments aligned in planes parallel to each other. The handle segments have holes therein adapted to receive the fingers of the hand.

    摘要： A package and a method of safely packaging rigid containers, such as glass bottles, in a carton without using inner partitions to separate the containers. The containers are placed on a bottom wall of a corrugated or similar paperboard carton blank so as to occupy substantially fully the area thereof. The vertical wall portions of the blank are then brought to bear snugly against said containers and to squeeze the containers against each other. Then sufficient force is applied against the package walls so that they are indented by the containers that bear against them. Top wall portions of the carbon blank are then brought to a horizontal position and are pressed down on the containers until both the top wall portions and the bottom wall are indented by the containers, and the walls are then secured together.

    摘要： A carton for holding one or more articles, for example light bulbs, includes an article engaging panel having at least one retaining aperture provided in the engaging panel for receiving and retaining at least one article such that one portion of the at least one article protrudes therethrough, a pair of opposed side walls extending upwardly from the engaging panel to shield the one portion and terminating at the respective free upper edges of the side walls to allow access to the one portion, and a cover arrangement for containing the other portion of the at least one article. The side walls extends away from the cover arrangement. The cover arrangement includes a series of hingedly interconnected panels including a pair of opposed terminal panels. The terminal panels of the cover arrangement are connected to the side walls respectively to form a tubular structure for enveloping the other portion of the at least one article.
