摘要： A sealing handle for a water bag includes a clamp slot defined in an underside thereof and the clamp slot has a guide opening in one end and a closed end on the other end. A sealing rod is clamped in the clamp slot and has a first axial ridge extending radially from an outer surface of the sealing rod. The end having the opening of the water bag is inserted in the clamp slot and goes around the sealing rod. The sealing rod includes two second axial ridges, two third axial ridges and two fourth axial ridges extending radially therefrom and located at different heights of the sealing rod. The second, third or fourth ridges contact two respective insides of the two parts defined by of the clamp slot and the bag so as to seal the opening regardless of the thickness of the water bag.

摘要： The present invention is directed to process and apparatus for forming a dual compartment package. The process includes forming an elongated rectangular U-shaped package having an inside and outside wall configured to form an open top end, and an inside and outside wall configured to form an open bottom end. The U-shaped package is filled with product. A zipper assembly having inter-locking members is separated into a first zipper component and a second zipper component. The first zipper component is attached to the inner side of the open top end walls thereby sealing the top end to the first zipper component. The open bottom end walls are placed adjacent the first zipper component, and the second zipper component is reattached to the first zipper component thereby locking the open bottom end walls between the inter-locking members of the zipper assembly. The U-shaped package forms two compartments that are separately filled with a product, in which the product is dispensed from the bottom end of the package after one of the interlocking members is released from the sealing/release assembly. The dual compartment package can also be formed with two separate compartments.

In order to obtain a multifunctional bag which can be easily and economically manufactured and readily recycled, the edge portion of one side wall protrudes beyond the edge portion of the other side wall, the protruding edge portion having a slit-like cut so that the protruding edge portion can be folded over the opposite side of the bag.

摘要： A plastic bag includes a body portion, a handle portion forming an opening adapted to be grasped to carry the body portion, and a closure portion. The body portion has a bottom, opposed front and back panels extending from the bottom, and opposed first and second side panels extending from the bottom and connecting the front and back panels. The bottom, the front and back panels, and the first and second side panels form a receptacle space having a mouth located opposite the bottom. Preferably, the bottom is flat and the first and second side portions form gussets. The handle portion and the closure portion are preferably formed by adjacent layers of a folded plastic sheet secured to the back panel. The closure portion preferably includes a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive to be secured to the front panel to close the mouth.

摘要： A thin plastic film bag design is provided according to which two plastic films are placed together in face-to-face relationship to form an enclosure. The film are sealed together at the lateral edge portions thereof but are open at the bottom extremity to allow stuffing contents into the defined enclosure. The sheets are so arranged at the upper extremity of the bag so as to define a supplemental enclosure which is delimited by at least two film layers. In the supplemental enclosure is entrapped the base of a hanger the hook portion of which is arranged on a throat extending through the multiple layers defining the supplemental enclosure. In one form the two layers are folded back on themselves at the upper extremity of the bag. In another form one of the films included in the associated bag is folded back on itself to form a U-shaped bight into which the other layer extends. In still another form one of the layers is folded back on itself and is then reversed to form a U-shaped bight into which the other plastic film extends. A seam is generally provided constituted by thermal welding which seals off the supplemental enclosure.

摘要： In a plastics carrier bag comprising two confronting walls which are interconnected by welded side seams, one said wall is provided with a form-retaining handle at the bag mouth and the other wall with a slit through which the handle can be passed to close the bag mouth. The slit is located along substantially the fold line of an inwardly turned flap of said other wall, the flap being engaged by said side seams to define a pocket for receiving a tongue portion of said one wall carrying the handle. The tongue portion is bounded at the sides by incisions which, at a level corresponding to the free edge of the flap, are directed away from the side seams. The incisions may be interrupted so that the tongue portion remains attached to the side seams until it is to be inserted in the pocket.
