摘要： A closure device for a container, and preferably for a water decanter, comprising a frame comprising a closure opening and which is preferably round and configured for insertion into a pouring opening of the container, a lid, which is connected to a pendulum and which is suspended in the closure opening of the frame, and configured to swing therein, wherein the lid is configured to close and seal the closure opening when the container is substantially upright, and wherein the lid and pendulum are configured to rotate with respect to the closure opening when the container is held in a slanted or horizontal manner. The closure device preferably comprises at least one cantilever arm secured to an inner wall of the frame at a first end and connected to the lid at a second end so that the lid is configured to swing with respect to the closure opening.

A spouted bag body includes: a spout having a body portion formed in a cylindrical shape, and a valve portion disposed inside a cylindrical hole of the body portion; and a bag body attached to the body portion to seal an opening of the cylindrical hole on one side, in which the body portion is provided with a narrowed portion which protrudes from an inner surface of the cylindrical hole over an entire circumference thereof, and the valve portion includes a support portion attached to the body portion, and a movable portion which is formed of a material having elasticity, is connected to the support portion, and covers an opening of the narrowed portion on the other side by coming into contact with an edge portion of the opening of the narrowed portion on the other side.

摘要： A dispensing seal for use with a flexible container for pouring viscous fluids. The seal includes a seat member disposed about the dispensing opening of the container and a flexible sealing member. When the sealing member is in its seated position, it forms a region having a generally concave shape as viewed from the exterior of the container, i.e., a region depressed inward toward the interior of the container. In this configuration the sealing member seals off the dispensing opening, fitting snugly within the wall or walls defining the dispensing opening. The sealing member is movably mounted so as to enable it to move with respect to the container between the seated position for retaining said fluid in the container under the weight of the fluid when said container is inverted and an unseated position for dispensing the fluid. The sealing member is formed of a material stiff enough to maintain the generally concave shape when in the seated position under the weight of a full container of the viscous fluid, yet flexible enough for the region to be deformed across the mid or median plane out of said generally concave shape when the container is squeezed to initiate pouring of the viscous fluid. Squeezing the container when the container is in inverted position exerts sufficient pressure on the sealing member to flex it to its convexly bulging shape thereby breaking the seal and allowing the fluid contents to pour out.

摘要： A container for storing and dispensing liquids comprising a disposable plastic cup and lid. The cup has an upper edge which terminates in vertically extending shoulders contiguous with opposite ends of an uninterrupted upper edge of a spout. The spout extends outwardly from a sidewall of the cup with the upper edge of the spout lying in a plane below the upper edge of the cup. The lid covers an open top of the cup, supports a flat flexible and resilient flap, and includes an open-bottom channel for receiving in a fluid-tight seal the upper edge and shoulders of the sidewall of the cup to releasably hold the lid on the cup. The flap is contiguous with a lid and cantilevers outwardly therefrom to normally rest on the upper edge of and seal the spout and to automatically rise from the spout as liquid in the cup presses on an underside thereof with a tipping of the cup to permit a dispensing of liquid through the spout.
