The distal end may be configured to be inserted into a body cavity of a patient during use of the body cavity drainage device. An activation apparatus is configured to alter a position of the distal end of the drainage tube relative to the proximal end of the drainage tube. The activation apparatus may include a rotatable control device and one or more flexible members disposed within the one or more lumens extending longitudinally through a wall of the drainage tube. The one or more flexible members may be operably coupled to the rotatable control device and to the drainage tube. Methods relate to forming and using a body cavity drainage device.

When a handle of a windlass is turned, a flat rod will be driven to rotate a gear shaft which then drives a gear disc to rotate. Because a head portion is positioned in an axle shaft, a fabric tape is rolled up along with the axle shaft to form a circular shape, providing an even applied force for rolling up the fabric tape.

摘要： A retractable power cord assembly, which may be incorporated into the rear cover of a steam iron, has two cord-receiving cavity sections. To increase the capacity of the assembly, the first section is so narrow that turns of the power cord wound into the first section are confined to be wrapped one on top of the other whereas the second section is sufficiently wide that the turns accumulate more randomly within the second section. 摘要： A wire receiving device includes a base member having a wire entrance and an aperture, a C-shaped member, a wire receiving member rotatably received in the C-shaped member and the base member, a cap co-rotatably connected to the wire receiving member and engaged with the base member, and a control member movably extending radially into the base member. The control member has a pawl engaged with the annular teeth defined in the bottom of the wire receiving member. A wire is hooked by the wire receiving member and wrapped around the shaft of the wire receiving member by rotating the cap. The engagement of the pawl and the annular teeth is released by pushing the control member so that the cap and the wire receiving member can be rotated reversely.

摘要： An annular reel for storing electricians'' fish tape, and comprising a pair of interfitting, substantially identical sections joined together near the central opening of the reel to permit access of the fish tape at the outer periphery of the reel between the sections. Each of the sections have a continuous groove defined by an inturned peripheral flange and an inwardly, radially spaced, concentric web. An elongated strip of relatively stiff material is slidably received in the groove to prevent unintentional escape of the tape between the opposed outer peripheral flanges. A tape feeder handle slidably received in the groove between the ends of the strip, and is arranged to guide and feed the tape, and further includes a finger-operated brake shoe adapted to apply pressure to the tape as it is forced into a conduit or the like.

摘要： An apparatus for convenient tightening and loosening of strings such as those found in shoelaces of footwear is provided. The apparatus includes a rotating portion within a base portion. A cover portion, when operated in a first position, provides a ratchet movement that allows rotation in a tightening direction while preventing movement in a loosening direction. When the cover is moved to a second position, the ratchet mechanism disengages, and the strings can then be easily loosened.
