Also, a handrail device for a variable-speed passenger conveyer comprises: a running rail formed in a loop; a plurality of handrail pieces which move following the running rail; a standard guide rail formed in a loop; a side guide rail provided along the standard guide rail, of which the spacing with the standard guide rail changes within a plane at acceleration/deceleration zones; a plurality of links rotatably linking a respective shafts of the standard guide rollers and side guide rollers, the links make continuous V formations within a plane; and a driving chain provided with protrusions for engaging the engaging pieces of the handrail pieces so as to drive the handrail pieces.

摘要： Handrail for variable speed moving walkway which comprises a flexible belt or profile which circulates over the length of the walkway, with a forward stretch and a return stretch. The profile or band is constituted on the basis of fixed length stretches and, optionally, stretches of variable length, alternating and joined to each other. The fixed length stretches have a profile which defines a toothed arrangement which meshes successively with a series of pulling chains which are arranged between the forward and return stretches of the handrail, mounted between toothed wheels and each one moves at a speed different from the adjacent chains.

摘要： A moving walkway comprising at least one fiat slider belt (6) entrained around rollers (8) and a termination plate (2) at the discharge end of the belt (6). The termination plate (2) may be an end plate or a transfer plate. The configuration of the termination plate (2) is such in relation to the speed of the belt (6) and diameter of the end roller (8) that an object travelling at the speed of the belt and leaving the belt will strike the plate at a position downstream of the leading edge (4) of the plate. The leading edge (4) of the plate is so shaped that it defines with the adjacent portion of the belt (6) a nip (10) of small depth in a vertical direction and which permits easy removal of any material which might happen to become ingested into the gap between the leading edge (4) of the plate (2) and the belt (6).

摘要： A variable speed walkway system capable of receiving passengers, accelerating them to above walking speed conveying them over a selected distance at a constant speed, and decelerating them for comfortable exiting is provided. In the preferred form, the system comprises a plurality of rollers driven by a prime mover through individual polyurethane belts to obtain acceleration and deceleration. In a second preferred form, the system comprises a variable speed drive employing one or more belts each of which drives a plurality of rollers. All rollers driven by a single belt accelerate or decelerate in unison. Acceleration and deceleration in this second embodiment is preferably computer controlled. A handrail which accelerates and decelerates with the walkway is provided for both embodiments.

An acceleration/deceleration device 12 accelerates/decelerates the pivot, and has a first track chain 122 endlessly guided along a predetermined first track and a first pressing fitting 128 having a rod shape extending outwards swingably attached to the first track chain. A tip of the first pressing fitting is detachably engaged with the pivot to accelerate/decelerate the pivot by continuously changing distance between the pivots by change of swing angle of the first pressing fitting.

摘要： A speed variable moving sidewalk for conveying passengers includes an endless circulating path having inverting sections, a high-speed section and speed variable sections, and a large number of treadboards moving along the circulating path. Each treadboard can move independently as being guided by guide rails and has hooks on its underside which engage shafts of a driving chain for inverting section. The treadboard further has hooks on its underside which engage shafts of a rack chain in order to be driven in the high-speed section and a roller for transversely sliding relative to the neighboring treadboard. A handrail mechanism for the speed variable moving sidewalk includes: with the total length of the moving sidewalk being divided into plural portions, a multiple-number of independent moving handrail portions for allowing passengers to hold thereon, being arranged for the respective portions of the sidewalk while all of the moving handrail portions are arranged without overlapping with one another.
