摘要: A cleaning valve for cleaning a beverage dispensing device is provided. The cleaning valve may include a valve body having a valve opening, a valve lever coupled to the valve body and configured to move the valve body between a product dispense position and a sanitize position, a product port configured to alternatively output a beverage product and a sanitizer based on a position of the valve lever, and a sanitizer port configured to receive the sanitizer from a sanitizer reservoir. The valve opening may be configured to create a first fluid communication path when the valve lever is in the product dispense position to allow the beverage product to output from the product port, and may be configured to create a second fluid communication path when the valve lever is in the sanitize position to allow the sanitizer to output from the product port.

摘要: A water dispenser for a refrigerator including a water discharge nozzle fluidly connected to a water source, a valve configured to selectively block the fluid connection, and an actuator operated to allow water to be dispensed. The water discharge nozzle is pivotally mounted to a surface of the refrigerator to pivot between a retracted position and an extended position. In the extended position, the water discharge nozzle is extended outwards beyond the surface of the refrigerator. The water discharge nozzle is biased towards one of the extended and retracted positions. The valve is configured to block the fluid connection between the water discharge nozzle and the water source when the water discharge nozzle is in the retracted position. When the water discharge nozzle pivots to the extended position, the valve is operated to enable fluid connection between the water discharge nozzle and the water source.

A protective cap (34) prevents the valve (9) from being closed. The cap (34) is removable only after installation of the valve (9) in the tap body (14).

摘要: A beverage dispense valve is described comprising (i) a body [2] having a bore defining a cylindrical chamber [15] therein and having a beverage inlet port [19] and a beverage outlet port [18] in communication with the chamber; (ii) a rotatable valve member [3] comprising a generally cylindrical barrel of plastics material rotatably mounted in the chamber [15] in the body [2] so as to be movable between open and closed positions of the valve, said barrel having a conduit therein to allow fluid to flow between the beverage inlet port [19] and the beverage outlet port [18] when the valve is in an open position, the external diameter of the barrel being minimally less than the internal diameter of the bore in the body; and (iii) handle means [8] to rotate the valve member [3] between the open and closed positions by engagement with the end faces of the valve member [3]; the handle [8] comprising a fork assembly having at least two cover plates [1,1A] to cover the end faces of the valve member [3]; characterised in that an inner surface of at least one cover plate is configured to releasably engage the valve member [3] in a single orientation such that in the open position of the valve, the fluid conduit connects the beverage inlet port [19] to the beverage outlet port [18]. The beverage dispense valve described is a user friendly beverage dispense valve which is convenient both to assemble and to dis-assemble for service in-situ and which is more appealing to the eye.
