    摘要: The method of, and apparatus for, producing a yarn using a friction spinning device comprising a perforated first friction spinning drum and a second friction spinning drum which can also be perforated. Two fiber feed passages project to the first friction spinning drum and are each supplied by opening assemblies which individualize or individually separate the fibers. The fibers are transported toward the first friction spinning drum using a feed air stream in the fiber feed passages. This feed air stream is produced by the first friction spinning drum which is maintained under sub-pressure. Advantageously, the fiber double-feed to the friction spinning drum permits supplying two different fiber types to the same yarn end. Also, different inclinations of the fibers at the friction spinning drum can be obtained by different inclinations of the fiber feed passages in order to produce yarns of different character.

    摘要: An open end roving, spinning, and spinning and twisting machine in which a twist belt or twist drum or twist drums cooperates with an elongate twist needle along the length of which drafted lengths of fibrous material are delivered sequentially so that the fibrous material will be loaded and wound upon the twist needle and then passed to delivery rolls for removing the fibrous material as a continuous length from the twist needle while imparting twist thereto. The twist needle is sandwiched between the rotating twist drums or the twist belt and a rotating twist drum having individual sectors which longitudinally reciprocate and help in feeding the fibrous material from the twist needle. The twist needle may be hollow so as to receive and pass a roving, yarn or the like which is integrated into the final product. A single twist needle or plurality of twist needles may be used, mounted in a circular pattern around the circumference of the twist drum and sequentially indexed to be engaged with the twist belt or twist drum or drums while a drafted length of fibrous material is fed thereto. In this fashion a multi-ply yarn may be obtained. The central twist drum contains a hollow central shaft which permits the feeding of a yarn or other materials through the center of the central drum thereby permitting the building of a large multi-ply yarn.

A collection belt with a porous portion is used for passing the fluid but holding back the fibers wherein the belt moves in a circular path around the chute and leaves the circular path to move the collected fibers thereon out of the circular path. A vacuum housing is positioned in close proximity to the collection belt and with an opening facing the collection belt for collection of the fluid.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus for production of yarn by friction spinning is disclosed. The friction spinning method employs a perforated friction spinning drum towards which a fibre feed passage projects. An opening roller, known from the open-end rotor spinning process, feeds separated fibres into the fibre feed passage, which fibres are taken up by a transport air flow in the fibre feed passage. This transport air flow is produced by the perforated friction spinning drum which is subjected to underpressure. Fibres leaving an opening of the fibre feed passage are laid in an inclined disposition on the perforated friction spinning drum and transported in this disposition towards a yarn end forming at a yarn formation position. The spun yarn is withdrawn by a withdrawal roller pair. Advantageously, a second friction spinning drum is provided parallel to the first perforated friction spinning drum to cause the fibre twisting-in process to take place in a more accurately defined manner.

    摘要: In order to make the start-up of spinning easier and to obtain a spinning triangular zone which is easily accessible and easily observed, the feeding in of fibers is provided at a rear triangular zone 35 whereas the twisted spun yarn 6 is withdrawn from the other triangular zone 36 in parallel to the plane 34 of the closest distance between the two spinning members 1, 2. The fibers have to pass a narrow section, since the triangular zone 36 is disposed oppositely to the triangular zone 35 versus the line of adjacency of the two spinning members. Suction openings 3' 4' of the suction provisions 3, 4 are directed toward that triangular zone 36 from which the spun yarn is withdrawn. The fiber input location 5' of the fiber feed provision 5 is directed toward the surface of that spinning member 1 whose surface 32 moves in the direction of the first triangular zone 35.

    摘要: In the case of an arrangement for open-end spinning, a driven suction roller is provided which in a take-up zone takes up fiber material opened to single fibers and transports it to a suctioned yarn formation line. The yarn formation line is defined by a suction insert arranged in the inside of the suction roller, and extends transversely to the transport direction of the suction roller on the surface thereof. In extension of the yarn formation line a twist device is provided. On the side facing away from the twist device, the suction roller is supported on the suction insert while freely overhanging same, so that the twist device reaches directly up to the suctioned yarn formation line. The yarn formation line is preferably inclined at an angle towards the take-up zone on the side facing away from the twist device.
