摘要： An apparatus for mitering portions of a workpiece to create mitered corners. The apparatus includes a base assembly. An X-Y positioning table is coupled to the base assembly. Clamp assemblies are coupled to the top of the positioning table for holding portions of a workpiece in place on the positioning table. A sewing machine is coupled to the base assembly and is adapted to sew a series of stitches along a V-shaped path. A notching device is coupled to the base assembly downstream from the sewing machine and is adapted for removing a portion of a workpiece defined by the V-shaped stitching path.

摘要： A tape waste collector assembly is suited for use with a belt loop sewing machine having a tape cutter for cutting a length of tape placed on a tape receiving plate into pieces of a predetermined length so that each of the pieces of tape may be sewn on a garment to form a belt loop. The tape waste collector assembly includes an air source, one or more air pipes pneumatically connected to the air source for blowing compressed air supplied from the air source towards the length of tape placed on the tape receiving plate, and a plurality of tape waste collecting elements such as, for example, a hose, a waste box and the like for collecting tape wastes produced when the length of tape is cut by the tape cutter. A controller controls a plurality of solenoid valves to operate the air pipes and the plurality of tape waste collecting elements so that the tape wastes blown off by the air pipes are appropriately collected by the plurality of tape waste collecting elements.

摘要： An assembly for use in combination with sewing machines for purposes of removing portions of stitchable material around which a buttonhole or other desirable design is sewn by the sewing machine. In one embodiment, the assembly is a kit which includes a support assembly, a material removal device positioned within the support assembly, and a driver connected to the material removal device to supply the necessary forces to remove portions of material. The kit assembly may be attached to a sewing machine without requiring any substantial modification thereof and, if properly positioned, will not interfere with sewing operations and the components associated therewith. The kit assembly may also be removed or disabled to allow the sewing machine to perform functions other than sewing buttonholes. In another embodiment, a portion disposal system is utilized to carry away and preferably contain the removed portions of material.

摘要： A dust collector for a sewing machine includes a dust collector box secured to a motor housing having a blower motor and a clutch motor disposed in axial alignment with each other. Suction hoses lead from the vicinity of the sewing machine to an inlet for the box and the outlet of the box is provided with a filter whereby a clean stream of air exiting from said box will pass over the motors to cool the same. The treadle operated control lever for the clutch for energizing the sewing machine is provided with a switch adapted to be closed upon engagement of the clutch and opened upon disengagement of the clutch. The switch is connected in series with a selective control switch for the blower motor whereby when the switch is in a first position the blower motor will be energized simultaneously with the engagement of the clutch and deenergized simultaneously with the disengagement of the clutch. When the switch is in a second or third position, the blower motor may be turned off or on independently of the clutch engagement.

The second face is a face on the opposite side of the cover body from the first face. The bottom wall is opposite the second face.
