The steam iron also includes an evaporation chamber (19) connected to the water-steam separator (18) to receive condensed water from the water-steam separator (18) and which includes a surface heated by the heating element (14) to generate evaporated water from the condensed water. The evaporation chamber (19) is connected to the second inlet (29). The inlet junction (16) comprises a venturi effect nozzle (31) for expelling the input steam and to generate a reduced pressure in the region of the second inlet (29) to draw the evaporated water into the inlet junction (16). The venturi nozzle (31) is disposed within an outer tube (32) of the inlet junction (16) and the second inlet (29) is positioned upstream of the end of the venturi nozzle (31) from which the input steam is expelled, with respect to the flow direction of the steam.
Abstract:
A garment steamer (1) comprising a base body (10) accommodating a liquid water tank (26); a liquid water pump (32), having a water inlet (32a) and a water outlet (32b), wherein the water inlet (32a) is fluidly connected to the liquid water tank (26). The garment steamer also comprises a steam head (50) that is moveable with respect to the base body (10) and that accommodates a steam chamber (70), having a liquid water inlet and a steam outlet, wherein said steam outlet includes at least one steam nozzle (76); a heating element (72) that is provided in or adjacent said steam chamber (70), and configured to evaporate liquid water passing through said steam chamber. A liquid water tube (38b, 38c) fluidly interconnects the water outlet (32b) of the water pump (32) and the liquid water inlet of the steam chamber (70) in the steam head (50).
Abstract:
A system for steaming clothes is disclosed. A steamer is connected through a hose to a steamer bag or a steaming component having a plurality of connecting tubes, where the steaming component having the plurality of connecting tubes, where the plurality of connecting tubes connects to a plurality of detachable ventilating tubes, where the plurality of the detachable ventilating tubes have a plurality of holes to expel steam. The steaming component with the plurality of connecting tubes are configured to hold an article of clothing that fits around the steaming component and the plurality of connecting tubes, where the steaming component is configured to receive the steam from the steamer to expel the steam through the plurality of holes to the steamer bag to entirely steam an entire portion of the article of clothing.

Abstract:
An air-feed device and boiler iron has a three-station guiding valve. The body contains an air inlet linking boiler and two air outlets located in two sides of a guiding valve. The first outlet links wet vapor snoot of iron and the second links heating plate of boiler. One end of a valve rod of the guiding valve is in the valve body and links to a fixed valve plug. The other end is led outside through an opening in the top of body. When the valve rod rests at any one of the stations, the valve plug blocks a desired combination of air outlets and/or inlets.
Abstract:
Steam wrinkle-removing appliance comprising a steam-producing boiling chamber (60) incorporated into a water tank (110), said boiling chamber (60) being in direct communication with the water tank (110) while being supplied with water by gravity via at least one supply line (70) extending from the tank (110), said boiling chamber (60) comprising a heating unit (4) and a steam outlet (62) through which the steam can freely flow toward a wrinkle-removing element (3) such as a steam brush, the tank (110) comprising a filling inlet (121A) in the upper part of the tank (110), characterized in that said steam outlet (62) is in direct communication with a hose (2) connected to the steaming element (3) so that the steam produced by the boiling chamber (60) is not diffused into the tank (110).
Abstract:
An improvement in a steam powered pressing iron, in which steam is supplied by a boiler. The steam collects in a steam chamber inside a body 5, and heats the iron. A lever 8 is depressed by a thumbpad 9 to actuate a steam discharge valve 10. The steam discharge valve 10 discharges the steam to a garment being pressed. The improvement includes a steam trap valve 36. The steam trap valve discharges condensate to a discharge return connector 38, through the return hose to the boiler. The steam trap valve 36 is a thermodynamic steam trap, for preventing the flow of hot steam back to the boiler. But when in contact with cold condensate, the steam trap valve 36 automatically permits the flow of condensate back to the boiler. Cold condensate is automatically purged from the iron without operator intervention.
Abstract:
A steam generating appliance such as an electric iron comprises a base unit and a hand-held mobile unit which can be releasably coupled to the base unit. The base unit comprises a reservoir for water and a pump for pumping water from the reservoir into the mobile unit when the mobile unit is coupled to the base unit. The mobile unit comprises a boiler and an on-board reservoir for water, wherein the on-board reservoir is adapted to store water received from the base unit under pressure and to deliver the water to the boiler under the control of a user-operable valve.
