The catch rail of the male member is disposed adjacent to an inner surface of the sidewalls to engage an interlock cavity sidewall inner surface and limit pivoting movement of the panels.

    摘要: A building panel having a hollow elongate structure with a generally rectangular cross-sectional profile. The elongate structure has first and second outer skins joined by parallel first and second side walls. A connection device of first and second ribs is on each side wall to connect to adjacent panels to form a segment of a wall or roof. The elongate structure includes two inner web skins extending between the first and second side walls to divide the interior of the elongate structure into three chambers. The triple chamber profile provides the panel with additional structural strength and rigidity, as well as improved thermal and sound insulation properties. The lower chamber may be fitted with a polycarbonate sheet to increase thermal and acoustic performance. The panel is polycarbonate.

    摘要: A glazing panel system is provided with improved glazing panels, retention clips and/or U-shaped connectors. The retention clip may engage the glazing panels at locations lower than top ends of the upstanding seam flanges. In one embodiment, an internal U-shaped connector is positioned to engage the seam flanges while an external U-shaped connector covers the internal connector and the seam between adjacent glazing panels. The glazing panels may be formed with pockets adjacent the base of the upstanding seam flanges to receive a portion of the retention clip to apply retention forces at locations below the upper ends of the seam flanges. The retention clips may be formed with an upper transverse portion that is movable relative to the base portion of the clip to accommodate panel expansion and contraction. Also, a thicker plate or portion may be provided at a top flange for the retention clip to provide increased resistance to uplift loads trying to bend the flange.

    摘要: A glazing panel system is provided with improved glazing panels, retention clips and/or U-shaped connectors.     摘要: A panel clip assembly for use with skylight or roof panel systems and having allowance for reduced movement of panels both parallel and perpendicular to the seam formed by adjoining panels, together with improved allowance for rotational and pivotal movement of said panels. The panel clip includes a base member with a base plate and upward extending flanges; an interim mount member movably attached to the upward extending flanges of the base member by a pin assembly; and an upper clip assembly for receiving and constraining the panels. The upper clip member is movably attached to the mount member such that said clip member can slide in a direction parallel to the seam formed by adjoining roof panels. In addition, the mount member is capable of rotational movement in the plane of the panels and pivotal movement about the axis of the pin assembly. The clip assembly of the present invention therefore allows for a range of panel movements in response to forces including thermal expansion, seismic activity, loading on the panels and wind uplift.
