摘要： An apparatus for removing debris, including an elongated hollow structure wherein, at least a portion of the elongated hollow structure extends in a curved configuration. The elongated hollow structure comprises a sidewall which defines an opening which extends within and along the elongated structure. The sidewall also defines a first and second apertures spaced apart from one another and in communication with the opening. The apparatus further includes an elongated insert member having a length which exceeds a length of the elongated hollow structure and has a width dimension smaller than a width dimension of the opening and the first and second apertures such that the elongated insert member slides within the elongated hollow structure and in and out of the first and second apertures.

摘要： An air induction device is provided for mounting to a downspout to induce the flow of air in the downspout. The air induction device comprises a tubular member that is sealingly fitted through the downspout such that it provides fluid communication between the atmosphere and the interior of the downspout. The air induction device is preferably mounted on an upwardly facing surface of the downspout and at a location where the downspout is extending angularly downward or at a bend in the downspout, thereby orienting the tubular member at an upwardly extending oblique angle relative to the downspout.

摘要： A debris removal apparatus for use in a gutter having a mounting plate with a hole defined therein, attached to the top of a gutter, a power source situated near the top of the mounting plate, a shaft, having a first end and a second end, and wherein the shaft is attached to the power source at the first end. The shaft extends through the hole defined in the mounting plate. Also provided is a hub attached to a second end of the shaft having a plurality of spokes or blades extending therefrom, whereby the spokes or blades are adapted to remove debris from the gutter to prevent clogging and flooding. Further provided is a method of using the debris removal apparatus to maintain a debris-less gutter on a structure.

摘要： A debris collection device 10 for a gutter downspout 21 includes a transparent enclosure 12 having an inlet 16 and outlet 18 that are configured to snugly insert into corresponding portions of the gutter downspout 21. A cylindrically configured debris collection screen 60 is removably installed in the enclosure 12 via a lid 48 in a cover 46 over a vertically positioned aperture 34 in the enclosure 12. The debris collection screen 60 is deformable and resilient to provide a debris collection member capable of nullflatteningnull as more debris 65 is captured by the screen 60 thereby allowing unobstructed water flow through the enclosure 12. The transparent enclosure 12, debris collection screen 60 and lid 48 cooperate to allow an individual access to the screen 60 for removing captured debris 65 from the screen 60 without removing the screen 60 from the enclosure 12. An outlet screen 58 is installed over the enclosure outlet 18 to collect debris 65 that might flow around the debris collection screen 60 during heavy rainfall. An individual may remove debris 65 collected by the outlet screen 58 while the collection screen 60 remains in the enclosure 12 by forcibly adjusting the position of the deformable collection screen 60 to provide hand space.

摘要： A debris removal device for rain gutter downspouts is inserted between the bottom of the downspout and the top of a ground drainpipe into which the downspout empties. The device comprises an elongate tubular housing open on both ends and having an unobstructed third opening formed transversely through the tubular wall between the ends. A partition, having apertures formed therein, extends generally transversely within the tubular housing at an inclination converging toward the third opening so as to divert debris, which enters the tubular housing through the first opening, out the third opening while enabling rainwater associated with the debris to pass through the apertures in the partition and out the second opening. Water flow guides associated with the partition divert rainwater away from the third opening to inhibit it from flowing out the third opening along with the debris. A dam is provided at the bottom of the third opening to likewise inhibit the flow of water out the third opening.
