    Abstract: A drain cleaning device includes a power unit including a housing, a motor, and a spindle. A drum assembly incudes a shroud coupled to the housing, a drum configured to be rotated by the spindle, and a cable received in the drum. A handle assembly is coupled to the drum assembly and extends along an axis. A feed mechanism is coupled to the handle assembly and is configured to guide the cable through the handle assembly. The feed mechanism includes a quick release selector configured to selectively engage a roller assembly with the cable to enable the cable to be fed through the handle assembly along the axis, and a directional selector configured to vary a feed direction of the cable along the axis by changing a position of a roller assembly.

    Abstract: A handle for use with a firearm cleaning rod may include an ergonomic handle. The ergonomic handle comprises a core having a top end, a grip, and a base; a bolster disposed on the top end provides an additional point for a user to apply force to the cleaning rod when cleaning a firearm. Below the bolster is the grip, which consists of a palm-engaging section and a finger-engaging section, where an inward curvature exists on the palm-engaging surface below the bolster; both sections may be covered with a textured overall for improved gripping by a user. Within the base is a housing that contains a connector for the purpose of securely connecting a cleaning rod to the ergonomic handle. The cleaning rod may include an accessory end for connecting firearm barrel cleaning accessories.

    Abstract: A technique which facilitates cleaning of an interior of a pipe via access through a lateral hole in the pipe. The technique utilizes a control bar head coupled with a sweeper system which may be inserted into the pipe through the lateral hole. The sweeper system may comprise a plurality of shiftable sweeper heads which generally align for insertion through the lateral hole and then transition along the interior of the pipe to effectively sweep particles along the interior of the pipe. The sweeper system effectively clears an area of the interior of the pipe to facilitate a more effective seal with a subsequently inserted pipe isolation device.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and assembly each adapted for enabling an imaging element cleaning apparatus to be placed through an abdominal wall of the patient without the use of a trocar or cannula. By eliminating the need for and use of a cannular or trocar, such embodiments advantageously overcome dimensional compatibility issues exhibited between the inside diameter of the central passage of commercially-available trocars and cannulas and the outside diameter of the sheath of an imaging element cleaning apparatus comprising such a sheath. Such dimensional compatibility issues are overcome by enabling an imaging element cleaning apparatus of the present disclosures to be placed through the abdominal wall of a patient without the use of a trocar or cannula.
