摘要: A wire rope tension grid is a walking surface comprised of interwoven wire rope. The wire rope is supported by a framework of steel angle and tubing. The framework is supported by mounts that are hung from the support beams in the ceiling of a structure, often a performing art center, a television studio, a black box theater, museum dioramas, theme park scenes, live animal pens, or other entertainment venues. These grids are not intended for public usage, but rather are intended for operation staff. New improvements to these grids are listed in this document.

摘要: Work platform systems and related methods of assembly and use are disclosed herein. In one exemplary embodiment, a method of installing a work platform system into an internal cavity of a structure includes supporting a first platform portion at a first location, and adding a plurality of additional platform portions to the first platform portion, where successive ones of the additional platform portions are respectively positioned at respective locations that are successively farther outward away from the first platform portion. The method further includes coupling the additional platform portions to one or more other locations, and detaching the additional platform portions from one another. The method additionally includes lowering or raising one or more of the first and additional platform portions to one or more additional levels below or above the first level, where the work platform system includes the first and additional platform portions.

摘要: The present invention consists of a scaffolding system (1) which is intended for use when working on the roof (2) of a building (3). The scaffolding system (1) is comprised of at least one roof scaffold (4) intended to be positioned relative to the roof with at least one supporting structure (5) comprised of at least one first set of supporting members (11), at least one second set of supporting members (12) and at least one third set of supporting members (13). Unique to the present invention is that the roof scaffold (4) is comprised of elongated parts (9) which run essentially in the roofs direction of slope and crosswise members (10), said roof scaffold (4) positioned at a distance from the roofs (2) surface, which permits objects such as roofing sheet to be moved in the space between the roof scaffold (4) and the roofs (2) surface, and that the scaffolding system (1) includes at least one conveying device (6) by which materials such as roofing sheet (27), other objects and the like may be moved up to the roof (2) and down from the roof on at least one inclined (sloping) plane (20) connected to the roof (2).

摘要: The present invention discloses a lipped tray, intended for use on scaffold towers and adapted to hold builders' tools in use. The tray incorporates on each of its two opposite side edge regions a means which, when the tray is in use, locates the tray between horizontally successive rails of the tower in a manner which also causes the tray to engage with one at least of those rails and be supported, in use, by each of them.

摘要: This document discusses, among other things, modular carrier apparatuses and methods therefor. In an example, a carrier includes a storage section including a region configured to receive at least one scaffold component. A pallet fork receiver is coupled to the storage section. The pallet fork receiver is configured to accept a forked platform. An engagement feature is coupled to the storage section. The engagement feature is configured to couple with a corresponding feature of an adjacent structure positioned in vertical alignment relative to the carrier. The engagement feature is configured to self-align with the corresponding feature. In another example, a method of use of the carrier is included.

摘要: The present invention is concerned with providing a support for temporary lighting for use with scaffolding systems. The support assembly comprises of two main components and the required fastening systems to affix lighting fixtures and mast light fixtures embodied in two configurations. The support consists of a thin walled pipe with a tube half clamp welded to one end and a thin walled tee welded to the opposite end. The clamp and tee are orientated to provide the support with a precise mounting position. A second thin walled pipe is positioned concentrically through the tee to create framework that has an angled appearance. The second pipe is maintained annular and concentric to the first pipe by means of two washer type collars welded above and below the tee that constrains both pipes to each other. A small space between the collar and tee provides the second pipe with unconstrained rotational movement. Lanyards incorporated in the support are fixed directly to the scaffold for job site safety concerns. Another aspect of the invention is the tube half clamp, which can provide quick assembly and infinite positional placement on a horizontal or vertical pipe member of a scaffolding system.

摘要: An apparatus used as a tool, to lock and unlock the casters of a scaffold while the user is on top of a scaffold. The apparatus is an elongated pole and adjustable sleeve with a spring-loaded push button mechanism, to change the length of the apparatus. There are a variety of specially designed heads that are used to adjust the scaffold caster levers in locked and unlocked positions. This is done in place of a user climbing up and down the scaffold and manually locking and unlocking the scaffold caster levers from the ground level. A rubber mallet head or contact bulb is provided near the handle to further adjust the scaffold casters, and a looped strap is also provided to hang the apparatus when not in use.
